The CRAFS (Corrugated Retention and Filtration System) is a sediment retention device for areas where silt fences often fail, such as outlets and inlets. It eliminates issues with silt fences like slow seepage and overflow by dividing and distributing runoff over a larger area through a corrugated structure. This provides lateral load support and allows the filter fabric to cleanse, rejuvenating faster seepage. Testing shows CRAFS can retain over 95% of sediment and dewater runoff much faster than silt fences. It provides a new solution for problematic areas of sediment control.
