The document outlines the plan for an English lesson about healthy food and the food pyramid. The lesson includes several activities: forming groups to present on different food categories and filling in the food pyramid, surveying students' eating habits, discussing reasons for healthy eating using a fishbone diagram, scribing an audio about food to practice listening and drawing skills, creating a "What's on Your Plate?" activity to plan healthy meals, and a writing exercise matching phrases to make sentences about food. The overall goal is to improve students' English skills while learning about healthy eating.

Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.
2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.
Synthetic Fiber Construction in lab .pptxPavel ( NSTU)
Synthetic fiber production is a fascinating and complex field that blends chemistry, engineering, and environmental science. By understanding these aspects, students can gain a comprehensive view of synthetic fiber production, its impact on society and the environment, and the potential for future innovations. Synthetic fibers play a crucial role in modern society, impacting various aspects of daily life, industry, and the environment. ynthetic fibers are integral to modern life, offering a range of benefits from cost-effectiveness and versatility to innovative applications and performance characteristics. While they pose environmental challenges, ongoing research and development aim to create more sustainable and eco-friendly alternatives. Understanding the importance of synthetic fibers helps in appreciating their role in the economy, industry, and daily life, while also emphasizing the need for sustainable practices and innovation.

2. Презентаціяпроєктів на тему « FOOD PYRAMID»
3. 3
T: All of us live in the world, where we haven’t got time to do something we
want. Parents spend all their day at work and students always busy by their
homework. Sometimes we haven’t got time not only for a good sleep, but to balanced
diet too. Because of this people start to eat food, which tasty and quick to prepare.
But it doesn'tmean that it healthy.
Scientists all over the world have worked out a FOOD PYRAMID. The Food
Pyramid was developed in 1992 by Americans nutritionists and students of Harvard
University. The main point of this picture is that you can make the balanced diet. It
includes the different kinds of food from four groups and how much of each type of
food you should eat for all the day.
Let`s watch and listen to the FoodPyramid projects, prepared by group of
researchers and then hold a short group conversation on the topic.
P1. The basis of pyramid includes products like rice, bread, spaggetti, cereal, oil.
Food in the bread and cereal group is made from plants called ‘grains’. Grains help
give you. Products from these groups you should eat every day.

Teacher. Now, the designer from the first group, please, go to board and fill in
products from grain group into pyramid.
P2. The second level is fruit and vegetable group. Because of them we can saturate
our organism by useful vitamins and minerals. Eat fruit and vegetables four or more
times every day. This food helps keep you healthy. It helps your eyes and skin. It is
good for your teeth, too.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hbyMfGWTJ3c
Teacher. Now, the designer from the second group, please, go to board and fill in
products from fruit and vegetable into pyramid.
P3. The next stop of our pyramid is meat group. Eggs, meat of birds, beans, nuts,
fish and lean meat are in this food group. All this food helps you grow and be strong.
You need eating it twice a day.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q3bpnJiS9yw
Teacher. Now, the designer from the third group, please, go to board and fill in
products from meat group into pyramid.
P4. The neighbors of meat group are dairy products like cheese, yogurt and kefir.
Food in the milk group helps your teath and bones stay healthy. You need two or
three cups of milk each day. As like as meat group this products saturated by
proteins, calcium and vitamins B, D and A.

Teacher. Now, the designer from the fourth group, please, go to board and fill in
products from milk group into pyramid.
3. Презентація результатів опитування щодо харчових звичок учнів та
вчителівшколи.
T: You also got an interesting task at the last lesson:
You had to make a survey about the meal habits of students in our school.
What results do you have?
P: We have done a little project abouthealth and healthyfood. We have interviewed
some students and teachers in our school. And they told us abouttheir lifestyle and
their healthy diet. All these interviews were recorded on the video. And now I wantto
show you this video-interview.
Video.
P: Also we have interviewed other 44 people – boys and girls. We have madea
statistic table. So I can say that most of students eat a lot of fruits and vegetables and
5. 5
only 36% of them eat fast food, it`s very cool. I think we`ve not got good results,
because only 42% have3 meals a day and more.
As for teacher, almost 80 % have a big breakfast and eat a lot of fruit and
vegetables. It is a good result. But sometimes they like to eat fast food too.
So you can payattention to this table and see results.
