The 12th Inter-Parliamentary Forum on Security Sector Governance in Southeast Asia examined the role of parliaments in security sector reform (SSR) and peace processes. Key findings highlighted the interconnection between SSR and peace processes, emphasizing that parliaments can enhance engagement through capacity building, public awareness, and oversight of SSR and peace agreements.
