أول : السرعة القصوى للسيارة :
بسبب خاصية اللزوجة للهواء تتناسب قوة مقاومته لحركة السيارة طرديا مع سرعتها . وبعد
حدود معينة)٠٢١ كم / س( تتناسب مقاومة الهواء طرديا مع مربع سرعة السيارة مما يسبب زيادة
استهلك الوقود .
ثانيا : قياس سرعة ترسب الدم :
تعرف بعض المراض من خلل قياس سرعة ترسب كريات الدم الحمراء خلل البلزما .
ثالثا : استخدام الزيوت في التشحيم :
من فوائد تشحيم اللت :
1-تقليل الحرارة الناتجة عن الحتكاك .
2-حماية أجزاء اللت من التآكل .
قانون ستوكس :
نصه : قوة مقاومة)قوة اللزوجه( المائع لكرة تسقط سقوطا حرا فيه تناسبا طرديا مع لزوجة هذا المائع
وقطر الكرة وسرعتها الحدية .
ول يستخدم هذا القانون إل في حدود معينة للسرعة .
السرعة الحدية : ثبوت السرعة للجسام الساقة في المائع .
فعند السرعة الحدية نجد أن قوة الممانعة ) قوة اللزوجة ( تعطى بالعلقة التالية :
ق اللزوجة = × ٦ πمل × نق × عالحدية
وتكون قوة الممانعة دائما مؤثرة باتجاه معاكس لتجاه حركة الجسم داخل المائع .
فعندما يكون الجسم متحرك نحو السفل :
قالطفو قالطفو
قاللزوجة + .......= وزن الجسم قاللزوجة + قالطفو = وزن الجسم
قاللزوجة أما عندما يتحرك الجسم نحو العلى :
قالطفو = ....... + وزن الجسم قالطفو = قاللزوجة + وزن الجسم
