This study investigated the learning curve for transradial carotid interventions in two high-volume centers between 2010-2016. It found that after performing the first 50-100 cases, procedure duration, fluoroscopy time, and contrast usage decreased significantly. While the success rate remained high at 99.8% and the rate of femoral conversion did not change, complications were low. The study concludes that transradial carotid intervention can be performed safely, with the learning curve to transition taking about 2 years in high-volume centers.
