since April 2014. I am interested in joining a company where my analytical and

My current position responsibilities are analyzing and designing the buildings and
designs are handover to the draftsmen to represent my work in AutoCAD so that
it easily readable by site engineer at the time of execution. The tools which are
used for the designs are ETABS, STAAD PRO, and SAFE few analysis and designs
can be done manually according to several IS codes.
I am interested to join your organization to sharpen my skills and to next level of

SUMMARY
I am Structural Engineer with 2 year of experience in Design of RCC (REINFORCED
CONCRETE) which includes design of Commercial and Residential buildings. Analysis and design is
carried out by using software like ETABS and STAAD PRO, for designing the foundation and flat slab
SAFE has used. In high rise buildings shear wall is used to resist the lateral loads effectively,
foundations for the high rise is raft completely or else pile. All the designs are carried out by IS 456
2000, for the building located in earthquake prone there region including IS 456, IS1893 are also used
to make earthquake resistance.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Versatile to understand the duties and responsibilities
• Responsible for designing all the structural elements of the buildings
• Duty is to give safe designs to the clients
• Duty is to read and understand the architectural drawing correctly
• Duty is to make efficient use of funds and materials in order to achieve structural goals.
• Working with geotechnical engineers to investigate ground conditions and analyze results of
soil sample and in situ tests
• When construction has begun, duty is too involved in inspecting the work and advising
contractors.
• To converse with anyone, and to enter easily into new situations with a creative and resourceful
attitude
• Responsible for the organization and delivery of materials and equipment for the needs of the
construction project. The supervision and management of on-site labor may also be a necessity.
• The role of a structural engineer involves a significant understanding of both static and
dynamic loading, and the structures that are available to resist them
• The main responsibility is to understand the interaction of structures with the shaking ground,
forces the consequences of possible earthquakes, and design and construct the structures
to perform during an earthquake.
• The structural design for a building must ensure that the building is able to stand up safely, able
to function without excessive deflections or movements which may cause fatigue of structural
elements, cracking or failure of fixtures, fittings or partitions, or discomfort for occupants.
• Duty is to describe wind loads for the design of buildings that respond elastically in strong
winds.
