Pros And Cons Of Lloding
Some Siding Materials You May Want To Consider Before Choosing New Siding For Your Home
Choosing new siding for your house is a big decision because you ll have to live with the siding for years to come. The first step is deciding on the siding
material you like best. Your siding contractor can also help you choose the best siding for your home s architecture and neighborhood. Here are some possible
options.
Affordable Siding Options
If price is a major consideration, then aluminum or vinyl siding could be good choices. These are popular with homeowners because they are durable and
affordable. Choosing between the two is a matter of which look you like best because they both require very little maintenance. Aluminum has the potential to
dent when struck with enough force and vinyl has the potential to melt or crack in extreme temperatures. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
All it requires is the right color and a surface texture applied that looks like wood grain. While vinyl and fiber cement siding can mimic wood and provide the
benefit of less maintenance, they don t look exactly like wood up close. If you want the classic look of wood siding, you can choose wood boards, logs, or
shingles. If you want the look of wood without as much maintenance, then you can choose engineered wood that is made from real wood so it looks natural.
However, engineered wood is less expensive, more durable, and needs less maintenance.
Stone And Brick Options
Stone is another good siding material to consider. Stone and brick are among the most expensive siding materials and the labor costs to install them can be
higher too since they require special skills to install. However, brick and stone are very durable and usually require very little maintenance. If you love the look
of stone, but can t afford it, you may want a stone veneer applied instead. It costs much less, but it is also much less durable and won t last nearly as long.

Compare And Contrast Traditional Teaching Styles
No teachers are similar as well as no students learn in the same way. Every teacher has their own unique teaching style which is based on their educational
philosophy, their classroom s demographic, what subject area they teach, and the school s mission statement. Up until now, teachers are looking for a system
that will engage students in the educational process and will develop the students critical thinking skills. Moreover, teachers want the classroom to be in order
and in control, but they also want their students to appreciate the learning procedure. These teaching styles can be divided into two approaches the teacher
centered and learner centered.
Traditional teaching styles use teacher centered approach. It includes a teacher that stands at the front and tells students step by step instructions. The teacher
decides what is learned, when it is learned, how it is learned, and how learning is evaluated. In a nutshell, the teacher is an information giver and evaluator. The
students are just there to learn through lessons and direct instructions. Their attention is mainly focused on passing tests, assessments, and evaluations.
Through the years, many successful people have came from the traditional setting. The earliest recorded occurrence of education proved that people learned in

Students are placed in the responsibility of their own learning and understanding while the teachers encourage students to be more independent and more
exploratory. The teachers will foster a sense of autonomy in the learning process as they act as a source of experiences. In addition, as the students watch their
teacher makes mistakes, they will learn those failures are part of the learning process. The students will soon realize that mistakes are natural in life and it will

Power Behind Dreamcatchers
Dreamcatchers are supposed to keep the bad dreams away. Little kids are given these when they are young to keep the night terrors away. Most people don t
even know their background or origin. The lack of this knowledge leave people to believing in something less special than it could be. It is important for them
to realize the knowledge and power behind the dreamcatcher. Dreamcatchers are made the way they are to let the positive dreams slip through the holes, to
glide down the feathers to the sleeping person below. Negative dreams would get caught in the web, and got away when the first light from the sun hit the
dreamcatcher. This is why you must have the dream catcher above your bed at night. The hoop of the dreamcatcher is a symbol for strength and unity from
Native Americans of North America. Then other tribes think that the positive dreams get stuck in the web, and the negative dreams go through the holes in the

Francisco Piria Research Paper
Uruguayan Alchemy Uruguay is a secular nation, with a distinct separation between church and state. As such, touring churches and cathedrals is not an
integral part of Uruguayan tourism. Those with an interest in mysticism, however, will not be disappointed. Introducing Francisco Piria Francisco Piria was
born in 1847 in Montevideo. During his childhood, his family sent him to Genoa, Italy to study with his uncle, a Jesuit monk. It was in Italy that Piria
developed an interest in the mystical arts of alchemy and Kabbalah. After completing his studies, Piria returned to Montevideo and established himself as a
real estate auctioneer. Piria s Vision While living in Europe, Piria s visits to the French Riviera created an image of the city he wished to create. His dream city
was 62 miles east of Montevideo. When he looked at the small mountains cascading down toward the sea, he purchased the 2700 parcels of untouched land,

Why Is Marilyn Monroe A Mystery
Red lipstick. Bombshell blonde hair. Holding down a white dress. Iconic. Marilyn Monroe was icon known by people all over the world. She was widely
known for her iconic picture of her holding down the front of her white dress when the wind blew up the grate. She quickly became the sex symbol of the 60 s.
But her death is still a mystery. The mystery of Marilyn Monroe is surrounded by two theories: the Kennedy family had her killed or she died of a suicidal drug
overdose.
Marilyn Monroe was an internationally known actress and star whose actions and whereabouts were always known, but the death of the star is still a mystery.

The Decline Of The 19th Century
Prior to the 15th century Europe had not much, if any, knowledge of the new world. Content with many small kingdoms and farms, there was no reason to
explore. The economy was limited and life was simple. However, by the latter part of the century, conditions changed and Europe s views did as well. At this
time the population experienced tremendous growth. This was definitely a motive for expansion since the economy which was once very weak was now
beginning to boom. Europe was truly breaking into a modern age.
This movement is referred to as the Renaissance or rebirth . European government, commerce, and technology were on the rise. Governments became more

Spain, Portugal, and France desired to build Catholic empires in the new world. Columbus thought himself to be chosen by God to embark on his journey. The
Dutch and English desired to convert the natives of the new world to Protestantism. Many went simply to be free to practice their faith according to their own
conscience and in their own form. In 1606 James I of England gave charters to the London Company and Plymouth Company to try to establish colonies in the
new land. England s attempts until now were unsuccessful. The London Company landed in what they named Jamestown in 1607. The colonists needed to not
only make a profit for the company, but they needed to survive. This proved to be nearly impossible. Jamestown was not well suited for cultivation. The humid
summer led to outbreaks of malaria and it was situated in the midst of Native American territories. By 1608 Captain John Smith took over the leadership of the
colony and saved it from the same fate the previous colonists had suffered. The London Company, now Virginia Company, received another charter in 1609
from the King. It gave the colonists more land and less power. The idea was to sell stock to people who would remain in England but share future company
profits, give stock to planters that would journey to the colony on their own, and transport people for free in return for serving the company for seven years.
Things did not turn out as planned.

Melting Point Lab Report
A pure compound can be identified by specific physical properties such as its melting point. A compounds melting point varies depending on how pure the
compound is, a higher melting point indicates a more pure compound. The purpose of this experiment is to determine the melting point of given crystalline
substances as well as the identity of an unknown substance based on its melting point. The DigiMelt melting point apparatus is used in this experiment to
determine melting points of different crystalline substances by allowing one to view the substances during the melting process.
In part 1 of the experiment, the melting point ranges for Urea, Trans Cinnamic Acid, and a 50:50 mixture of the two were found to be 4.4, 3.1, and 31.6

temperature. In part 2, the melting point of the unknown substance was taken at a fast ramp rate and found to be approximately 122.9. At a slow ramp rate, a
more accurate recording of 121.0 was obtained. The melting point ranges of Succinimide and Benzoic acid were 122 124 and 121 122. Succinimide was mixed
with the unknown substance and melted at 107ºC which indicated that it was not the identity of the unknown. Benzoic acid was then mixed with the unknown
substance. The pure substances of the unknown and Benzoic acid as well as the mixture all melted within 1ºC of one another which showed that the identity of
the unknown was Benzoic acid. The experimental melting range for Benzoic acid was 122.0 122.9. The experimental melting range of Benzoic acid found

Dworkin And Hartin Theory Of Law
In applying both Dworkin and Hart s theories of law, they come to very different conclusions in regards to the case of Riggs v. Palmer. According to Dworkin s
theory of law, judges do not solely focus only on the rules, instead, they focus on seeking right answers. Dworkin has many problems and disagreements with
Hart s theory, one in particular is relating to what Dworkin labels principles and policies . Dworkin defines a principle as a standard that is observed due to it
being a requirement of justice or fairness or some other dimension of morality (Dworkin, p.153 154). Policies, which go alongside principles, are standards in
which a goal is set out to be reached by the community (seen as improvements to life) (Dworkin, p.153). ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Secondary rules are split into three different types: Rules of change (allow public/private powers to fix old rules), adjudication (remedy for inefficiency,
introduces courts and law enforcement), and recognition (confers powers on people to identify law, and the unification of rules) (MacAlister, 2017). Another
important concept within Hart s theory of law is that he thinks judges have to their discretion. Hart proposes the idea of open texture in law, which states that at
times, the law does not cover every situation that arises and that law may run out (MacAlister, 2017). Within this open texture, the is a clear core of certainty,
where application of the law is apparent, and beyond the core, is the penumbra, the uncertainty and indeterminacy in law in which hard cases are based upon.
As law branches out of this core of rules, it becomes more and more indeterminate. Due to this indeterminacy, Hart believes that since there is no clear answer
written in the law, judges should have the discretion in dealing with hard cases. In the case of Riggs, since the relevant rules of law were of central concern and
not penumbral, the rules, as could seen by Hart prior to his elaboration in his postscript, as clear, and the grandson should have received the inheritance since it
was a valid will. Dworkin used the case of Riggs to demonstrate his concept of judges sought for the right

Comparison Of Two Creation Stories
Daniyar Sadyk
Paper #1; Topic #4
1+1: Completion and Justification
Creation stories have shaped the way people come to see gender relations. While some have formed egalitarian viewpoints, most of the people have supported
hierarchical notions. The reason for this division is the existence of two different creation stories that are contradicting each other. And the real question is not
if there are differences or not. But if there is a purpose to these differences? Indeed, there is. First, men have used Creation 2 to justify their actions and to keep
the patriarchal system working. Second, these two stories simply complete each other. With the second story, Genesis became an excuse for men to rule over
the women. In the first story, God creates everything in ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Genesis 1 has a broad outline which shows how God created the Earth. The author gives a general account of the creation. Genesis 1 does not have any
detailed information in it, but rather some overview on what happened. However, people want to know not just how our world was created, but also how
exactly humankind came to life. And Genesis 2 successfully explains how God created man from the dust, and woman from the man s ribs. It has many details
that the first story does not. Therefore, it is easy to conclude that the first story is more chronological and general, whereas the second one is topical. The first
story summarizes the whole process, while the second is more specific about man and his environment. Moreover, the second story could never be the only
creation story because it does not have a sufficient information needed to explain how God created the Earth. For example, there is no mention of the creation
of the day and night. There are no explanations how the oceans and fish were generated. Clearly, these two stories are complementary as they are supplying

According to Roy Morgan Research, one problem I researched that came up in New Zealand was poverty and the gap between the rich and poor. This can
happen a lot all over the world. This could be happening for many reasons but the main reason it stated was that people are losing their jobs and don t have any
income then have no choice but to leave their home, so then they end up living on the streets. The people there are trying to help it but it s becoming hard to so
they can t really do anything about it. Some people have family they can go live with until they can find another job but some don t and have to do it all on
their own.
Teens have different rules and laws all over the world. According to New Zealand Now, most children in New Zealand start school on their 5th birthday and all
children must be enrolled at school from their 6th birthday. Another thing that could be different is the technology. In New Zealand, their technology is not
different than here. They have modern TVs, phones, etc. Something that is also the same is the laws on driving. According to New Zealand Now, you are able
to start driving when you are 16 just like you can in

Eric Maria Remarque s All Quiet On The Western Front
The effects of war on young people lead to the regression of humanity. This statement will be proved by referring to the novel by Eric Maria Remarque, All
Quiet on the Western Front, poems from Wilfred Owen, Anthem of the Doomed Youth,, To any dead officer , They as well as Christ and the soldier by
Siegfried Sassoon, music lyrics from Roger Whittaker s I Don t Believe In If Anymore, art pieces like Mealtime and Feeling wounded by Otto Dix and Egon
Schiele s portrait of Reserve Lieutenant Heinrich Wagner and portrait of an Officer. When referring to the above mentioned genres we will be focusing on the
dehumanisation, demoralisation and disillusionment of war that leads to the regression of humanity.
One of the paramount effects of war on young people is the dehumanization of humanity. Dehumanization is the psychological occurrence of demonizing the
enemy or one self, manufacture them to appear less than human and therefore not worthy of humane behaviour (Maiese, 2003). Maiese (2003) adds that it can
lead to amplified viciousness, human rights violations, war corruptions, and genocide. In All Quiet on the Western Front (1994), soldiers rarely saw the ...

Robber Barons Dbq Essay
Throughout the late 19th century, several men such as John Rockefeller, Andrew Carnegie, and Cornelius Vanderbilt built empires in railroad construction,
coal mining, and the oil industry. These industrial leaders helped the economy flourish and created a leading industrial power in the world. After a while,
critics began to question their power and objective. Critics began to call them robber barons for their selfish and corrupted techniques. While they took
advantage of careless government regulation and no income tax, they generated huge business that benefited the country. They employed many people and
provided critical goods and services. There is a small margin to justify the characterizations of a robber baron for the leading industrialists of the late 19th
century, but more as captains of their respective industries. Industrialists and business men were philanthropists at these times. Andrew Carnegie published an

Graycloud By John Nola Analysis
Like Nola, Ruth Graycloud, was exploited and subjugated by her white husband, John Tate. Ruth was Moses Graycloud s twin sister. Like Nola, Ruth was an
Osage woman who became a victim of one of the white men who married Native American women to get access to Osage oil wealth. Despite marrying a
Native American woman, Tate had no respect to Native Americans. As Yanka Kroumova Krasteva contends, Tate constantly takes pictures of the Indians, as if
they were archaeological finds. And this is the way he treats his Indian wife (55). Tate was a photographer; he used to appear at all significant events in the
Indian territory standing behind the three legged stand that held his camera, his head covered with black cloth, his own good eye seeing everything through
glass lenses (Hogan, Mean Spirit 58). He used to photograph Native Americans and send their pictures to magazines. Tate first used Ruth as a model then as
source of income . (Hogan, Mean Spirit 179). He humiliated and abused her; he did not love her, disliked to be seen with her. They seldom went anywhere
together, but when they did, he never walked at her side (Hogan, Mean Spirit 134). At the end of Mean Spirit Tate killed Ruth. As a result, Moses shot him
dead.

his belief that the children of the upper class had a duty to give back to the lesser fortunate.
FDR then went on to Harvard University, from 1900 to 1904, where he performed only slightly better than he had at Groton. Thanks to his tremendous

Reggae music is a great style of music that was popularized by one of the world s most famous musicians, Bob Marley. Personally, I never listened to it until I

February 6, 1945 in Saint Ann, Jamaica, Bob Marley was born. His father was a white Englishman and his mother was a black Jamaican. When Marley was
ten years old his father died, and at that point his mother moved him to Kingston s Trechtown neighborhood. As a teenager in Kingston he became friends with
Bunny Wailer and this is when Marley learned to play music. When Marley was 14 years old he decided to drop out of school so he could learn the welding

neither one of them had received any interest at the time. The following year he began a Ska band with his friend Bunny and Peter Tosh, which was originally
called The Teenagers . They then became known as The Wailing Rudeboys and after a few more name changes they eventually came up with simply The

came out with another hit in 1965 that was entitled Soul Rebel in which both songs were written by Marley. In 1966 Marley married Rita Anderson, they had

The Importance Of Kindergarten Readiness
Some may base a young child s kindergarten readiness on mental abilities or academic skills. A skill that is just as important is a child s self regulation. Self
regulation in young children involves the ability to control behaviors, emotions, attention, and thinking. Self regulation is a theory, so there isn t a single
satisfactory definition of the term created by developmentalists. In order to track a child s progress in terms of their self regulation skill, as well as other
domains, it is appropriate protocol to observe and assess children.
A child s success in academic and social domains during kindergarten relies on the child s kindergarten readiness. Kindergarten readiness is not solely based on
academic abilities; it also depends on other aspects, such as the essential skill of self regulation. In the article Refining the Preschool Self regulation
Assessment for Use in Preschool Classrooms, the authors found that there is a growing interest in young children s self regulation skills. One goal of the
authors was to examine any noticeable differences between children s age, gender, or socioeconomic risk in regards to their self regulation abilities. Ceiling
effects caused some worry, due to the possibilities of causing difficulties in identifying differences between the comparable groups.
The study took place in northern Virginia. The participants in the study included 140 preschoolers enrolled in a Head Start program and 173 preschoolers

Jameson Whiskey Agency Brief Essay
TBWA Chiat Day Agency Briefing on Jameson Advertising Campaign

Overview Jameson is currently the world s favorite Irish whiskey. It is the world s most recognizable Irish whiskey and is also the best selling by a long shot.
Over 30 million bottles of Jameson s whiskey is sold every year. There are seven main whiskies within the Jameson brand (Straightwhisky, 2013).

Jameson whiskey is the main whiskey within the Jameson brand. It is a blend that incorporates the whiskey from malted barley and unmalted barley. There is

The dedication to heavy advertising is targeting Jameson s sales to nearly doubling to 3.5m cases by 2OO9 (BeverageBusiness.com, 2006). This is no new
concept with the brand: in the mid 199Os the hoary Spirit of Ireland campaign helped Jameson become the world s fastest growing international spirit and
fastest growing whiskey. Then the What s The Rush? campaign stressed the importance of people stretching out to enjoy themselves with friends in the face of
increasingly frenetic lifestyles (BeverageBusiness.com, 2006). Jameson grew more than 2O% in the US in 2OO5, with sales in travel retail up 16%. South
Africa grew by 4O%; Russia s sales doubled, as it did in 2O+ principal markets worldwide (led by Ireland, USA, UK, France, and Spain). Last year, the
company put 4O million euro (US $5O.8 million) behind Jameson, launching the ongoing Beyond the Obvious campaign (BeverageBusiness.com, 2006). The
positioning statement I think would be For young hard working real men who enjoy a fine whiskey Jameson Irish Whiskey is the beverage of choice.
Advertising objective is to build the brand year around, and not just on St. Patrick s Day (BeverageBusiness.com, 2006.) The three main objectives are to build
brand awareness, at 3O% awareness it s still a discovery brand; strengthen brand positioning; and create consumer brand relationship (BeverageBusiness.com,

Collapse of Lehman Brothers
Collapse of Lehman Brothers
Lehman Brothers was an investment bank that went back to the 1850s, surviving the Civil War, two World Wars, the Great Depression and any other great
misfortune that this 160 year old company s history had gone bankrupt. Lehman brothers were an important part in the financial and commercial industries in
the United States. People may have thought that leverage was a bad thing; they should have realized that a dry goods store turned into a huge investment bank
then years later bringing attention to the whole world. Lehman brothers began when an immigrate by the name Henry Lehman came from Germany and settled

On September 10, Lehman announced a gloomy fiscal third quarter of how they are financially. They reported a loss of $3.9 billion, which had a write down of

raise capital. Lehman had no option but to file for bankruptcy. That same day, Moody s Investor Service said, that they were going to review Lehman s credit
ratings, and also said that Lehman would have to sell a majority stake to a strategic partner in order to avoid a rating downgrade . This progress led to a 42%
plunge in the stock on September 11. Lehman only had $1 billion left in cash by the end of that week; they were beginning to run out of time. The weekend of
September 13 Lehman, Barclays PLC and Bank of America, aimed at assisting to takeover of Lehman, but ended up to be unsuccessful. That Monday Lehman

Bachelorette Research Paper
The Bachelorette finale was one for the Bachelor Nation history books. This season has been a whirlwind of continuos change. Therefore, it was unclear of
how the show would conclude.
First, Kaitlyn Bristowe meets with her fabulous family. For the record, I do remember them from last season. Then she shares the surprise that Nick showed up
and is still on the show. However, Nick goes from being the arrogant person from the last The Bachelorette to a family favorite over the course over a couple
of hours.
Then the Bristowe family got to meet Gosling look a like and one of my favorite contestants this season, Shawn Booth. He quickly changed the family s mind

Nick showed up dressed as if he only had access to a surf shop and brought his gift. Overall, the two have been cute and a nice match throughout the season.
However, it is clear that no matter what Nick thinks that it is not that simple.
Shawn s final date was confusing because of its level of awkwardness. It is unclear, if the editing was to throw of the fans or if it really was that uncomfortable.
Either way, the date concluded with another thoughtful gift and a kiss.
It was time for my second favorite guest after Amy Schumer, the famous Bachelor Nation ring angel, Neil Lane. Unfortunately, Nick s confidences was
increased when Neil was at the door, not Kaitlyn. Neil s poker face is worth seeing, as if he had no idea that Nick was supposed to meet him last year.

Don t Leave Me This Way: The Analysis of Abandonment in Mary Shelly s Frankenstein and Judith Guest s Ordinary People
Both Mary Shelley s Frankenstein and Judith Guest s Ordinary People display the consistent theme of abandonment by guardians. Both protagonists, the
Creature and Conrad, experience rejection from their parents and constantly try to search for love and attention in different aspects of society since they
unfortunately can not receive it from their parents. Given that no individual wants to associate with the Creature, he becomes immorally and seeks revenge on
the entire human race for not accepting him. Contrastly, Conrad has the support of several people in his ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Beth s nonchalant attitude towards Conrad becomes increasingly obvious and begins to really frustrate him, ultimately leading him to lash out at her, listen,
don t give me that, the only reason you care, the only reason you give a fuck about it is because someone else knew about it first! You never wanted to know
anything I was doing or anything I wasnt doing (Guest: 110). It is evident that Conrad constantly tries to spark conversations with his mother hoping that she
will give him her undivided attention, but it only results in him feeling as though he is a burden. The emotional detachment from his mother forces him to
distance himself from his entire family thinking that it would some how make Beth happy. Instead of forcing himself to deal with his mom s distant attitude he
exclaims, I know why she never came out there, not once! I know! Hell she was going to goddamn Spain and goddamn Portugal, why should she care if I was
hung up by the goddamn balls, revealing that he knows his mom has abandoned him as a son and has to deal with the fact that he is not the favorite son in the
family. He also comes to the realization that his mom is constantly trying to run away from the responsibility of parenting and is still unable to show any kind
of affection to her son who just tried to commit suicide. Rather than asking how Conrad is feeling, she plays victim as if Conrad has rejected her and

The Seashell By Osama Alomar Analysis
Peace is something that is rarely be attained in this world. The Seashell by Osama Alomar is a story that shows a man enjoying the beautiful sound of the
waves through a seashell but the seashell tells her perspective about darkness of humanity. The second story Booby trapped state by Alomar is describing a
world full of explosions and human parts flying around and contaminating the world. Osama Alomar uses rhetorical devices such as diction and tone to show
the destruction, and sadness of the world humans hide in their life.. People often chose to be ignorant of what goes on around them. Even with people are
dying and suffering around them, some people act as if the world is pure. It doesn t matter where we go, there would always be danger around us and that s the
reality of a world full of people who chose to be ignorant.
In The Seashell Alomar uses diction to show the perspective of the seashell about the ocean. There are differents way to describes feelings, actions, places, but
Alomar uses the darkest wording to prove his point. For example, The rivers of blood, the word choice in this phrase is really dark and violent (1). Blood
makes you think of people getting hurt and dying; In a river there is always a lot of water and in this case, water is replaced with blood. This is a gruesome
illustration of the extent to which there is bloodshed. Another choice of words that shows darkness and pain are tears. (1). People often cry when their loved
ones die, and thus, death is a main idea portrayed by the author. One way that many people die is by drowning. Thus, it is possible that the seashell heard
people cry for their loved ones who died in the ocean. Through the death of their loved ones many families were caused unimaginable sadness and pain. Kids
don t just suffer, some of them will have to take care of themselves for the rest of their lives. There are kids that don t have a father and mother because of their
parents died. They become orphans (9), they lose their parents and they don t a person to guide through right path. They have to face this horrible world
without any support. Many people think the life is a beautiful thing, but the reality is that the many lives are destroyed

Examples Of Alice In Wonderland Identity
In the beginning half of the novel, identity is a crucial theme. Through Alice s experiences in Wonderland, she gradually gains empowering intuition and self
appreciation in order to embrace her own identity. Throughout Alice adventures, she is asked to identify herself by several of the characters in Wonderland, and
often she is impotent to respond. Alice usually feels that she is too tall, or too small to be herself, or that she is another person altogether, I must have been
changed for Mabel! (Carroll 20). Since Alice s Adventures in Wonderland is a book meant for children and that has been popular among children, there seems
to be some evidence that children can relate to Alice s character since they are facing the same challenges and issues regarding developing a rational view of
the macrocosm and establishing their own identity. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In her dream, she went through a rabbit hole and later on found herself locked in a hall with many doors. In the hall, she drank from a bottle and it made her
grow small. Then, she ate a cake which made her grow bigger so she cried until her tears formed a sizable pool. The events in these chapters present a theme
that as children s physical body changes during the puberty stage, they become upset. When they become adolescents, they become childish, as if they want to
return to childhood. The theme presents an irony where children want to grow but when their physical body changes, they are not comfortable, and when they
grow to puberty, they act like a child. For instance, she was worried about her feet and how she could put her stockings and shoes, Oh, my poor little feet, I
wonder who will put on your shoes and stockings for you now, dears? I m sure I shan t be able! (Carroll 16). Just like other children, she worried herself about

1. The researchers found a significant difference between the two groups (control and treatment) for change in mobility of the women with osteoarthritis (OA)
over 12 weeks with the results of F(1, 22) = 9.619, p = 0.005. Discuss each aspect of these results.
The F value is high enough at the 5% level of significance to suggest a significant difference between the control and treatment groups. The p value 0.005 lt;
0.05 hence this suggests a rejection of the null hypothesis, meaning that the control and treatment groups are found to be different.

6. Can ANOVA be used to test proposed relationships or predicted correlations between variables in a single group? Provide a rationale for your answer.
Yes this is one of the main functions of the ANOVA to say whether or not there exists a relationship or correlation between groups. Normally, if the p value is
less than the significance level there is a difference between the groups, and if the p value is larger than the significance level there is no difference between the
groups.
7. If a study had a result of F(2, 147) = 4.56, p = 0.003, how many groups were in the study, and what was the sample size?
If K = number of groups in the study, and df = K 1 then K = df+1 = 2+1 = 3. So there are 3 groups in the study. There are N K number of participants so N =
K+147 = 3+147 = 150 participants.
8. The researchers state that the sample for their study was 28 women with a diagnosis of OA, and that 18 were randomly assigned to the intervention group
and 10 were randomly assigned to the control group. Discuss the study strengths and/or weaknesses in this statement.
In my opinion, I would like to see a larger sample size. But I agree with the choice to put more participants into the intervention group rather than the control
group. That is because I would be more interested in the results from the intervention group so a larger sample is appropriate, but there is still enough in the
control group to play

As shootings involving officers and suspects continue to rise, it brings a huge concern out there for current officers and future officers. When law enforcement
officers die in a shooting it not only affects their family but also the whole community and state as a whole. In society today officer deaths are still very high
and it s something we may never be able to control but it is something we definitely need to look at and try to control it. Nobody is going to want to join the
field of law enforcement if their chance of dying is at an all time high and at the rate we are going now looking at the future is going to be scary. This all goes

General Principle Of Suspension System In Motorcycles
CHAPTER 1
1.1 Introduction:
A suspension system is crucial mechanical device, used in motorcycles to reduce shock impulse. The suspension system is used in motorcycles to provide the
rider with smooth comfortable ride by absorbing bumps and imperfections in the road. The suspension system also absorbs the load during brake application
and makes turning of vehicle easier.
There are three main factors in a motorcycle s suspension:
1. Springs
2. Dampers
3. Sprung and Unsprung Mass
1.2 General Principle of Suspension in Motorcycle:

1.4.1.1 Telescopic forks
This is the most commonly used front suspension system used in motorcycles today.
It is simple in design and relatively cheap for manufacturing and assembling.
The disadvantage of this suspension system is that: as it works through its limits of movement, the effective wheelbase of the motorbike continually changes.

This type of suspension system has a wishbone which mounts on to the frame and supports the monoshock unit.
This relives the forks of any braking forces and suspension forces, where the trail angle and rake angle increases during braking instead of decreasing as with

The Line Between Knowledge And Power In Indian Horse And...
The Line between Knowledge and Power is Drawn in the Sands of Responsibility.
Knowledge is something that is gathered over time, changed and revolutionized based on the needs of society and dictated by the actions that humanity takes
that. As a human being, not only does one person have the ability to pass down the knowledge and skills that are learnt from fathers and their fathers
forefathers, but have the responsibility to continue traditions and knowledge learnt in the past that is relevant today. This idea of passing down knowledge, or
at least protecting knowledge can be found in each of the course texts this year, but more predominantly in Indian Horse, and as well in Fahrenheit 451. Over
the human existence on Earth, several philosophers have related Knowledge and Power to be directly linked together, It has also been said that with great
power comes great responsibility. According to these fundamental teaches and rules that have been created over time, it is clear to see that having knowledge
means having a responsibility to not only pass knowledge down to the next generation, but to protect knowledge and traditions from those who may with stop
knowledge from advancing.
In the novel, Indian Horse, traditions and knowledge of one s father and the fathers before them is lost by the actions of the Canadian Government and the
White Man , or more commonly known as the European. This was accomplished with the development of residential schools and institutional

Introduction Composting is nature s way of recycling and is the key to healthy soil and a healthy environment. Composting is a cost efficient way of getting
rich natural soil for a very cheap price. There are numerous types of compost bins available to make; each enable the growth of lawns and gardens. A compost
pile is usually made from fruit and vegetable scraps, newspaper and grass clippings, worms (that act as decomposers), and leaves.

At the conclusion of my experiment my hypothesis was correct. The worm bin was successfully composted and the organic waste was decomposed by the
worms. However as a fault of leaving the worms under direct sunlight it seems that they were burned and died. Also, as a result of moving worm bin outside
due to smell, a rodent knocked it over therefore I dirt was added to refill lost soil. When one should conduct experiment again may upsize worm bit to produce

Clara Machumann s Impact On Society
Franz Schubert is known to be one of the last classical composers and one of the first romantic composer. Schubert s music is well known for its melody and
harmony. Although he was a fantastic composer, his music did not become as recognized until he had already passed. His vocal contributions were written for
both male and female voices, as well as mixed voices. Schubert is considered to be a Romantic composer for many reasons, some being were that he combined
Romantic poetry and music, and that he was extremely emotional which led to his melodies and feelings. Schubert s life and personality also were a huge
impact that made him fit into the Romantic stereotype. He came from a poor family and lived a miserable life. Throughout his life, he was always known to be
a loner which help him be the creative person he always was. Schubert died very young at the age of 31 and was very sick; Syphillis.
Robert and Clara Schumann were a couple that were in love. Their story is full of music, love, and marriage. Before marriage, they went through a difficult

The Reflection Of The Hippocampus And Memory Function
The Hippocampus and Memory Function
Memory is defined as the the power or process of reproducing or recalling what has been learned and retained. Memories are created when chemical changes
happen in the memory related parts of the brain. These parts include the cerebral cortex, thalamus, and hippocampus. Learning new things make pathways in
the brain between neurons as a result of the chemical changes occurring. The pathways are also called memory traces, and when provoked recreate the
thoughts that made the traces.
There are two different types of memory, and three levels of memory depth. One type is motor memory, also known as muscle memory, which is the
recollection of motor skills like walking, swimming, or playing a sport. Unless ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The hippocampus is responsible for long term memory, and is also involved with the limbic system in the brain, which regulates emotions. Emotions and
memory go hand in hand, and when the body is under emotional stress it becomes more alert as a result of the steroid hormones being produced, and can
remember things better and more clearly. This is why frightful or sorrowful memories are often fleshed out in incredible detail, and are hard to forget. As well
as why at a party somebody might remember the name of the woman who made them laugh, over a woman who didn t emotionally impact them. Emotional
stress is only good in moderation, as prolonged stress can damage and interfere with the storage of memories.
The hippocampus is is involved with serious mental illnesses, such as severe depression and schizophrenia, as well as Alzheimer s disease. Alzheimer s attacks
the hippocampus first and most harshly before other parts of the brain, causing confusion and loss of memory, and during severe depression the hippocampus
appears to shrink. The hippocampus shrinkage isn t permanent and can be reversed with effective treatment.
Back to memory. Memory recall is the ability to activate memory traces to retrieve past information. Memory recognition is when a person can recognize
whether they have seen material before. Sometimes memory recall falters, and makes someone forget certain parts of information, and remember parts of
others. Examples of faulty recall is when a word is on

Paris Peace Conference Vs Treaty Of Versailles
During the Paris Peace Conference, there were many different approaches how to create an effective solution after the conflicts of the war. Georges
Clemenceau of France, who had also served during the French defeat in the Franco Prussian War, wanted revenge on Germany by humiliating the country. The
actions of the British representative, David Lloyd George, were driven purely by self interest, and the Italian representative, Vittorio Orlando, was greedy in
his pursuit to acquire colonies. However, the representative from the United States, President Wilson, sought to create a plan that would create a fair peace.
Wilson felt that it was essential to create a proposal that would establish a liberal structure of peace to prevent major European powers from engaging in
further conflict over issues such as colonies. The plan that President Wilson designed, called the Fourteen Points, outlined multiple objectives. First, the ...

Germany having to downsize their army and disband their navy and airforce altogether, Germany paying reparations that would cripple its economy, and
Germany having to admit that they were the cause of World War I. These points would allow for the rise of fascist powers in Italy and Germany, eventually
leading to the outbreak of World War II. However, one success of Wilson s plan was Point 14, which led to the creation of the League of Nations, a group of

one in five girls and about one in twenty boys are victims of child sexual abuse. Over the course of their lifetime, 28% of U.S. youth s aged 14 to 17 have been
sexually victimized. According to the 2003 National institute of Justice report three out of four adolescent children have been sexually violated by someone
they knew very well (Child Abuse Statistics , 2012). The figure below represents children s exposure to violence in 2011 by the child s age. The graph shows
that children from the ages fourteen to seventeen were sexually victimized the most while children aged zero to one were least exposed sexually (Childrens
Exposure to Violence , 2013).
Typologies In the early 1970 s the first of many child sexual abuse typologies was proposed by .
Figure 2. Rep (Groths Typologies)
Situational Typology The situational sex offender or also commonly known as regressed offender, is an individual who sexually abuses children due to some
sort of external stressor. For the most part these individuals have normal sexual interest in other adults but may sexually abuse children to help cope with the
extreme stress in their lives. In most cases these stressors include: unemployment, marital issues, drug abuse, loneliness, or the lack of acceptance by family
members or peers (Miller Laurence, 2013). Their

Summary Of Walk Well My Brother By Farley Mowat
As a plane crashes somewhere in northern Canada, two passengers have been left to survive on their own, but first, they must recognize and put aside their
significant differences. In the short story Walk Well My Brother by Farley Mowat, Charlie, a white, male, airplane operator, and Konala, a young, indigenous,
woman living in Yellowknife. Charlie has many differences from Konala. Charlie is ignorant while Konala is intelligent, Charlie is selfish while Konala is
selfless, and Charlie is not good at dealing with stressful situations and Konala, on the other hand, is very good at dealing with stressful situations.
To begin, In the short story Walk Well My Brother the characters Charlie and Konala are different because Charlie is ignorant ... Show more content on

At this point in the story, Charlie and Konala are traveling for help while at the same time looking for food and new places to stay in the night. A bear is
spotted by Konala in the field, and it is heading towards them Konala swerved away, even though this brought her closer to the bear. [...] she was attempting to
distract the beast (Mowat 80). During this time in the story, Konala is taking care of, feeding, and giving Charlie all the means to live. This act of courage by
Konala clearly shows the selflessness and kindness of herself to the extent that she distracted a bear to give Charlie a better chance of surviving. Charlie s
characteristic of selfishness is seen throughout the story but most of all during the beginning of the story when Charlie was in Yellowknife. A young Eskimo
touched his arm and pointed to the tent, as he went over he said, Theses huskies might have a few white fox pelts to trade (Mowat 171). This quote shows that
the only reason Charlie went into the tent was not to see if everything was okay but it was to see if there was anything he could get out of walking over to the
tent, in turn being very selfish. At this point in the story Charlie is asked to fly Konala to a hospital, and at first, he says no, but one of the other men shows two
walrus tusks [...] of exceptional quality (Mowat 172).

Debt Vs Decedent
Debts due by the decedent cannot constitute debts that have accrued after the decedent has passed away. First, this conclusion is reached by a textual, plain
meaning, reading of the bond. Indeed, at the time of the decedent s death, the decedent ceases to exist, and all that remains is the decedent s estate. As such,
any debts that arise after the decedent s death are not debts due by the decedent, but they are debts incurred by the decedent s estate. This is so notwithstanding
the fact that the State of Maryland is within the class of entities that that a nominal bond secures. Stated differently, although the nominal bond secures the

In support, the State will rely on the text of the bond which provides that the surety is obligated to the State of Maryland. Moreover, the State will note that in
Williamson, two other debts one for the decedent s credit card, and another for unpaid hospital bills were properly recoverable against the bond. Id. at 154.
These distinctions are immaterial. The issue in this matter is not to whom particular debts are owed, but rather, when the debts accrued. Although Williamson,
is mandatory authority for the resolution of this issue, the Court of Appeal s holding in that case embodies a border concept of the workings of suretyship law
that require this outcome.
3. Principles of Suretyship Require That Erie Cannot Be Liable for The State s Claim.
Not only does Williamson, expressly provide that debts incurred after a decedent s death cannot be secured by a nominal personal representative s bond, but
elementary principles of suretyship prohibit a principal obligor and a creditor from unilaterally increasing a surety s exposure to liability on a bond. Indeed:
[A] change in the agreement by the principal and the obligee, without notice or consent by the surety, when it materially changes the risk, entitles the surety to
discharge, acknowledging that, when it is applicable, there is ample authority to support it. See Restatement (Third) of Suretyship Guaranty (1995) § 41,

Examples Of True Freedom In 1984 By George Orwell
What is true freedom? That s something to think about while reading 1984 by George Orwell. In this book, true freedom doesn t exist. The people of this book
are trapped in a world of despair. The characters in 1984 do not experience true freedom. There is plenty of evidence to prove this. In the book, the people have
no right to think freely, they can t fall in love, and they have to follow the rules that are giving to them. If the world that this people live at showed true
freedom, then all this actions would be allowed. True freedom would be the ability to speak, think, and do things that one would normally want to do. People
from the book 1984 do not have the true freedom that one would wish to have. The people can t even have there own

back to me and then I threw the ball into the dug out because the game had begun. Nate had threw the first pitch. Wackk. They had hit the ball right back to me
and I ran touched first base. I threw the ball back to Nate to pitch it again and Crack They had hit a sky rocket and it can soring down like and eagle. Let me be

  • 2. Pros And Cons Of Lloding Some Siding Materials You May Want To Consider Before Choosing New Siding For Your Home Choosing new siding for your house is a big decision because you ll have to live with the siding for years to come. The first step is deciding on the siding material you like best. Your siding contractor can also help you choose the best siding for your home s architecture and neighborhood. Here are some possible options. Affordable Siding Options If price is a major consideration, then aluminum or vinyl siding could be good choices. These are popular with homeowners because they are durable and affordable. Choosing between the two is a matter of which look you like best because they both require very little maintenance. Aluminum has the potential to dent when struck with enough force and vinyl has the potential to melt or crack in extreme temperatures. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... All it requires is the right color and a surface texture applied that looks like wood grain. While vinyl and fiber cement siding can mimic wood and provide the benefit of less maintenance, they don t look exactly like wood up close. If you want the classic look of wood siding, you can choose wood boards, logs, or shingles. If you want the look of wood without as much maintenance, then you can choose engineered wood that is made from real wood so it looks natural. However, engineered wood is less expensive, more durable, and needs less maintenance. Stone And Brick Options Stone is another good siding material to consider. Stone and brick are among the most expensive siding materials and the labor costs to install them can be higher too since they require special skills to install. However, brick and stone are very durable and usually require very little maintenance. If you love the look of stone, but can t afford it, you may want a stone veneer applied instead. It costs much less, but it is also much less durable and won t last nearly as long. Unique Siding ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Every teacher has their own unique teaching style which is based on their educational philosophy, their classroom s demographic, what subject area they teach, and the school s mission statement. Up until now, teachers are looking for a system that will engage students in the educational process and will develop the students critical thinking skills. Moreover, teachers want the classroom to be in order and in control, but they also want their students to appreciate the learning procedure. These teaching styles can be divided into two approaches the teacher centered and learner centered. Traditional teaching styles use teacher centered approach. It includes a teacher that stands at the front and tells students step by step instructions. The teacher decides what is learned, when it is learned, how it is learned, and how learning is evaluated. In a nutshell, the teacher is an information giver and evaluator. The students are just there to learn through lessons and direct instructions. Their attention is mainly focused on passing tests, assessments, and evaluations. Through the years, many successful people have came from the traditional setting. Most people don t even know their background or origin. The lack of this knowledge leave people to believing in something less special than it could be. It is important for them to realize the knowledge and power behind the dreamcatcher. Dreamcatchers are made the way they are to let the positive dreams slip through the holes, to glide down the feathers to the sleeping person below. Negative dreams would get caught in the web, and got away when the first light from the sun hit the dreamcatcher. This is why you must have the dream catcher above your bed at night. As such, touring churches and cathedrals is not an integral part of Uruguayan tourism. Those with an interest in mysticism, however, will not be disappointed. Introducing Francisco Piria Francisco Piria was born in 1847 in Montevideo. During his childhood, his family sent him to Genoa, Italy to study with his uncle, a Jesuit monk. It was in Italy that Piria developed an interest in the mystical arts of alchemy and Kabbalah. After completing his studies, Piria returned to Montevideo and established himself as a real estate auctioneer. Piria s Vision While living in Europe, Piria s visits to the French Riviera created an image of the city he wished to create. His dream city was 62 miles east of Montevideo. This was definitely a motive for expansion since the economy which was once very weak was now beginning to boom. Europe was truly breaking into a modern age. In 1606 James I of England gave charters to the London Company and Plymouth Company to try to establish colonies in the new land. England s attempts until now were unsuccessful. The London Company landed in what they named Jamestown in 1607. The colonists needed to not only make a profit for the company, but they needed to survive. This proved to be nearly impossible. Jamestown was not well suited for cultivation. The humid summer led to outbreaks of malaria and it was situated in the midst of Native American territories. By 1608 Captain John Smith took over the leadership of the colony and saved it from the same fate the previous colonists had suffered. The London Company, now Virginia Company, received another charter in 1609 from the King. It gave the colonists more land and less power. The idea was to sell stock to people who would remain in England but share future company profits, give stock to planters that would journey to the colony on their own, and transport people for free in return for serving the company for seven years. • 9. Dworkin And Hartin Theory Of Law In applying both Dworkin and Hart s theories of law, they come to very different conclusions in regards to the case of Riggs v. Palmer. According to Dworkin s theory of law, judges do not solely focus only on the rules, instead, they focus on seeking right answers. Dworkin has many problems and disagreements with Hart s theory, one in particular is relating to what Dworkin labels principles and policies . Dworkin defines a principle as a standard that is observed due to it being a requirement of justice or fairness or some other dimension of morality (Dworkin, p.153 154). Policies, which go alongside principles, are standards in which a goal is set out to be reached by the community (seen as improvements to life) (Dworkin, p.153). ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Secondary rules are split into three different types: Rules of change (allow public/private powers to fix old rules), adjudication (remedy for inefficiency, introduces courts and law enforcement), and recognition (confers powers on people to identify law, and the unification of rules) (MacAlister, 2017). Another important concept within Hart s theory of law is that he thinks judges have to their discretion. Hart proposes the idea of open texture in law, which states that at times, the law does not cover every situation that arises and that law may run out (MacAlister, 2017). Within this open texture, the is a clear core of certainty, where application of the law is apparent, and beyond the core, is the penumbra, the uncertainty and indeterminacy in law in which hard cases are based upon. As law branches out of this core of rules, it becomes more and more indeterminate. Due to this indeterminacy, Hart believes that since there is no clear answer written in the law, judges should have the discretion in dealing with hard cases. In the case of Riggs, since the relevant rules of law were of central concern and not penumbral, the rules, as could seen by Hart prior to his elaboration in his postscript, as clear, and the grandson should have received the inheritance since it was a valid will. • 10. Comparison Of Two Creation Stories Daniyar Sadyk Paper #1; Topic #4 1+1: Completion and Justification Creation stories have shaped the way people come to see gender relations. While some have formed egalitarian viewpoints, most of the people have supported hierarchical notions. The reason for this division is the existence of two different creation stories that are contradicting each other. And the real question is not if there are differences or not. But if there is a purpose to these differences? Indeed, there is. First, men have used Creation 2 to justify their actions and to keep the patriarchal system working. Second, these two stories simply complete each other. With the second story, Genesis became an excuse for men to rule over the women. In the first story, God creates everything in ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Genesis 1 has a broad outline which shows how God created the Earth. The author gives a general account of the creation. Genesis 1 does not have any detailed information in it, but rather some overview on what happened. And Genesis 2 successfully explains how God created man from the dust, and woman from the man s ribs. It has many details that the first story does not. Therefore, it is easy to conclude that the first story is more chronological and general, whereas the second one is topical. The first story summarizes the whole process, while the second is more specific about man and his environment. Moreover, the second story could never be the only creation story because it does not have a sufficient information needed to explain how God created the Earth. For example, there is no mention of the creation of the day and night. There are no explanations how the oceans and fish were generated. When referring to the above mentioned genres we will be focusing on the dehumanisation, demoralisation and disillusionment of war that leads to the regression of humanity. One of the paramount effects of war on young people is the dehumanization of humanity. Dehumanization is the psychological occurrence of demonizing the enemy or one self, manufacture them to appear less than human and therefore not worthy of humane behaviour (Maiese, 2003). Robber Barons Dbq Essay Throughout the late 19th century, several men such as John Rockefeller, Andrew Carnegie, and Cornelius Vanderbilt built empires in railroad construction, coal mining, and the oil industry. These industrial leaders helped the economy flourish and created a leading industrial power in the world. After a while, critics began to question their power and objective. Critics began to call them robber barons for their selfish and corrupted techniques. While they took advantage of careless government regulation and no income tax, they generated huge business that benefited the country. They employed many people and provided critical goods and services. As Yanka Kroumova Krasteva contends, Tate constantly takes pictures of the Indians, as if they were archaeological finds. And this is the way he treats his Indian wife (55). Tate was a photographer; he used to appear at all significant events in the Indian territory standing behind the three legged stand that held his camera, his head covered with black cloth, his own good eye seeing everything through glass lenses (Hogan, Mean Spirit 58). He used to photograph Native Americans and send their pictures to magazines. Tate first used Ruth as a model then as source of income . (Hogan, Mean Spirit 179). He humiliated and abused her; he did not love her, disliked to be seen with her. They seldom went anywhere together, but when they did, he never walked at her side (Hogan, Mean Spirit 134). At the end of Mean Spirit Tate killed Ruth. As a result, Moses shot him dead. In fact, Hogan highlights the oppression inflicted upon women. Meanwhile, she pinpoints the previously discussed ecofeminist principle that women s liberation is inseparable from the struggle against the oppression and abuse of ... FDR then went on to Harvard University, from 1900 to 1904, where he performed only slightly better than he had at Groton. The second story Booby trapped state by Alomar is describing a world full of explosions and human parts flying around and contaminating the world. Osama Alomar uses rhetorical devices such as diction and tone to show the destruction, and sadness of the world humans hide in their life.. People often chose to be ignorant of what goes on around them. Even with people are dying and suffering around them, some people act as if the world is pure. It doesn t matter where we go, there would always be danger around us and that s the reality of a world full of people who chose to be ignorant. In The Seashell Alomar uses diction to show the perspective of the seashell about the ocean. There are differents way to describes feelings, actions, places, but Alomar uses the darkest wording to prove his point. For example, The rivers of blood, the word choice in this phrase is really dark and violent (1). Blood makes you think of people getting hurt and dying; In a river there is always a lot of water and in this case, water is replaced with blood. This is a gruesome illustration of the extent to which there is bloodshed. Another choice of words that shows darkness and pain are tears. (1). People often cry when their loved ones die, and thus, death is a main idea portrayed by the author. One way that many people die is by drowning. Thus, it is possible that the seashell heard people cry for their loved ones who died in the ocean. Through the death of their loved ones many families were caused unimaginable sadness and pain. Kids don t just suffer, some of them will have to take care of themselves for the rest of their lives. There are kids that don t have a father and mother because of their parents died. Yes this is one of the main functions of the ANOVA to say whether or not there exists a relationship or correlation between groups. If a study had a result of F(2, 147) = 4.56, p = 0.003, how many groups were in the study, and what was the sample size? If K = number of groups in the study, and df = K 1 then K = df+1 = 2+1 = 3. • 34. Single Mom Research Paper August 15,1998 I was born in Miami Florida. To a single mother, my father who is absent in my life, was late while my mother was in labor. My mother felt no pain while conceiving me, unlike most women who scream in agony, she believes that was a sign from God declaring my fate. My mother says I am destiny for greatness, and I believe her. Growing up was fun, I was very blessed and well taken care of. Being the only child of a single mother was quite boring, but I always got what I wanted. In my youth, I traveled a ton, mostly wherever my mother could find work, she was a LPN (License Practical Nurse) with an abundant amount of experience, which gave her an edge in the work force. I can recall living in Georgia, Homestead, Antigua, and the Bahamas. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 36. The Reflection Of The Hippocampus And Memory Function The Hippocampus and Memory Function Memory is defined as the the power or process of reproducing or recalling what has been learned and retained. Memories are created when chemical changes happen in the memory related parts of the brain. These parts include the cerebral cortex, thalamus, and hippocampus. Learning new things make pathways in the brain between neurons as a result of the chemical changes occurring. The pathways are also called memory traces, and when provoked recreate the thoughts that made the traces. There are two different types of memory, and three levels of memory depth. One type is motor memory, also known as muscle memory, which is the recollection of motor skills like walking, swimming, or playing a sport. Unless ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The hippocampus is responsible for long term memory, and is also involved with the limbic system in the brain, which regulates emotions. Emotions and memory go hand in hand, and when the body is under emotional stress it becomes more alert as a result of the steroid hormones being produced, and can remember things better and more clearly. This is why frightful or sorrowful memories are often fleshed out in incredible detail, and are hard to forget. As well as why at a party somebody might remember the name of the woman who made them laugh, over a woman who didn t emotionally impact them. Emotional stress is only good in moderation, as prolonged stress can damage and interfere with the storage of memories. The hippocampus is is involved with serious mental illnesses, such as severe depression and schizophrenia, as well as Alzheimer s disease. Alzheimer s attacks the hippocampus first and most harshly before other parts of the brain, causing confusion and loss of memory, and during severe depression the hippocampus appears to shrink. The hippocampus shrinkage isn t permanent and can be reversed with effective treatment. Back to memory. Memory recall is the ability to activate memory traces to retrieve past information. Memory recognition is when a person can recognize whether they have seen material before. Sometimes memory recall falters, and makes someone forget certain parts of information, and remember parts of others. Examples of faulty recall is when a word is on ... • 37. Paris Peace Conference Vs Treaty Of Versailles During the Paris Peace Conference, there were many different approaches how to create an effective solution after the conflicts of the war. Georges Clemenceau of France, who had also served during the French defeat in the Franco Prussian War, wanted revenge on Germany by humiliating the country. The actions of the British representative, David Lloyd George, were driven purely by self interest, and the Italian representative, Vittorio Orlando, was greedy in his pursuit to acquire colonies. However, the representative from the United States, President Wilson, sought to create a plan that would create a fair peace. Wilson felt that it was essential to create a proposal that would establish a liberal structure of peace to prevent major European powers from engaging in further conflict over issues such as colonies. The major points of the Treaty included Germany losing one tenth of its land, Germany having to downsize their army and disband their navy and airforce altogether, Germany paying reparations that would cripple its economy, and Germany having to admit that they were the cause of World War I. These points would allow for the rise of fascist powers in Italy and Germany, eventually leading to the outbreak of World War II. However, one success of Wilson s plan was Point 14, which led to the creation of the League of Nations, a group of nations that would meet to prevent conflict and preserve peace. First, this conclusion is reached by a textual, plain meaning, reading of the bond. Indeed, at the time of the decedent s death, the decedent ceases to exist, and all that remains is the decedent s estate. As such, any debts that arise after the decedent s death are not debts due by the decedent, but they are debts incurred by the decedent s estate.
