This document provides an overview of an information literacy course being offered from April to June 2013 in Rome. The objectives of the course are to: 1) introduce computer literacy for humanities subjects, 2) introduce information literacy as a next step, and 3) provide a cognitive foundation for students to independently develop advanced competencies. The course will be achieved through experiential learning styles including concrete experience, reflective observation, abstract conceptualization, and active experimentation. A variety of tools will be utilized including programming languages, content management platforms, and social networks like LinkedIn to encourage sharing and collaboration.
Sapienza University of Rome has several expectations for the Commons Web Platform and local CommonS operational unit. The platform and unit are expected to provide a system to support students with special needs at Sapienza, including services, resources, and assistance tailored to their requirements. The system will also help connect students with relevant university departments and external organizations for additional support.

The document discusses ways to improve dissemination of the Commons Project and ensure its sustainability. It proposes:
1) Submitting another funding proposal (CommonS2) to extend support for the Commons Project and define goals/sustainability.
2) Cooperating with other European networks and a publishing house to enhance dissemination of project platforms, communities, and learning content.
3) Better defining the business model by cooperating with the xAPI community, skills/competencies standards, and an educational orientation project (Up2U) to bridge between funding periods.

Webinar del 22-11-12 su Insegnalo.it.

The document discusses the WE-COLLAB project at Sapienza University which aims to extend the capabilities of the CommonSpaces platform to incorporate advanced digital technologies and learning analytics in higher education courses. Specifically, it focuses on adding features for (1) text analysis and content evaluation, (2) recording learning experience data during self-paced learning sessions, and (3) a mobile app to archive data from synchronous/asynchronous classes. These tools are well-suited for language learning, linguistics, and analyzing language, sentiment, and topics in various disciplines. The project also evaluates reliability of learning analytics data and explores potential future developments and conclusions.
