Hackathon
The Hackathon is an annual event facilitated by Gujarat Knowledge Society, Education
Department under Student Start-up and Innovation Policy. The Gujarat Knowledge Society has
successfully completed 4 Hackathons since 2017. This year the fifth edition of the Hackathon-
“New India Vibrant Hackathon 2023” is being organized from August to November 2023.
Objectives:
• Find out the best possible solutions to issues and challenges faced by various state
departments, municipal corporation, district administrations and PSUs.
• Promote innovation and entrepreneurship amongst the students
• Support the feasible idea and concept under Student Start-up and Innovation Policy 2.0
• Strengthening the Start-up and Innovation Eco system in the state.

• School Students (From Class 9 to 12)
• Students of any Institute/University
Benefits to students:
• Exposure to real world challenges and opportunities to work on them.
• Opportunity to win awards and prizes.
• SSIP 2.0 grant for PoC/Prototype /Innovation and IP support

Role of SSIP Coordinator
● Min 3 teams registration recommended per programs per institute
● Share AISHE code of your institute and University with the
students
● Team formation from the same institute only
● One Student can participate in One team and One Problem
