 Building a multi modal data collection platform for Kinect v1 by implementing a continuous recording module and
synchronizing recorded Kinect streams.
 Acquiring visual, audio and depth corpora using Kinect v1 for phonetically rich sentences.
 Initiating and defining future direction of research that can be carried out in collaboration with IIT Gandhinagar and ISCTE,
Lisbon in areas such as image recognition, driver’s fatigue etc.
Developed a research platform for Community based water purification system, in collaboration with Underwriters
Laboratories Inc., Chicago. | Gandhinagar, India (May 2014 – November 2014)

 Reviewed drinking water problems in India, the existing designs of water purifiers, analyzed water samples and designed
a novel purification process for a community based drinking Water Station using capacitive deionization technology.
 The research platform would also be used for a comparative analysis of the widely used Reverse Osmosis with the new
CDI technology. It is proposed to use CDI technology for treating the discharge of RO water for better efficiency.
