Teaching Phylosophy
A teaching philosophy is a statement of who you
are as a teacher.
Essentially, a philosophy statement is the
why, what, and how of your teaching.
It is rooted in :
• what you believe about teaching and learning.
• Your goals for students,
• your understanding of your role as teacher
• concrete examples of your teaching and
assessment methods (may be included in your philosophy
statement.)
