These results I was happy about as 90% of
them are positive. The results show that
people would buy the product and think
it is of a high standard

As you can see the front cover was the
product most people preferred. I think
this may be down to the photography
used for the main image. The photo had
lots of bright colours across it and had a
cover star who went well with the indie-
rock music genre, for example his
clothing was tartan and red skinny jeans
which are quite different just like the
genre. Also he is holding a bass guitar
which is an instrument used in basically
all rock or indie-rock bands.

The images were the most popular feature of
the magazine. I think this could be because of
the quality of them. My front cover main
image is good because it is in a good location
for an indie-rock magazine as he is in a spray
painted under-way which shows a bit of a
rebellious attitude just like the music does
because graffiting as such is illegal. Also the
images are bright which the audience might
like.

I like the results from this question as people
state that they have no problems with the
magazine mostly. One person said that the
cover lines weren’t big enough, to rectify this
if I was to produce another magazine or when
I do I would use a slightly larger font size.

, 1 As my magazine was meant to be indie-
rock these results are good for me, they
show more people are in favour of it being
an indie-rock magazine than other genres
and the two other genres aren’t
completely different to indie-rock as rock
is very similar but the music is heavier and
metal has similar attitudes of rebellion to
it.
