girls regain consciousness and realize they have switched bodies; Bethany's wish for beauty has
come true. Although Bethany did not mean to become Carla, she still ultimately got her wish.
In the last few lines of the play, Bethany explains that the swap gave both girls the one thing that
everybody wants; different problems. "It's better than beauty for me; it's better than brains for you"
(41).

This notion is the core of James MacGregor Burns' classic definition of leadership as "leaders
inducing followers to act for certain goals that represent the values and the motivations–the wants
and needs, the aspirations and expectations–of both leaders and followers." Successful leadership
inspires the members of the organization to embrace shared values and to move together toward

Also, if they can maintain the percentages in the remaining area, and increase the international and

Safety regulations were not originally in use when automobiles were first on the road which led to
the invention of traffic lights, "cat's eyes," and painting of lines in the road to assist drivers. Vehicles
have come a long way since their introduction into American society and they continue to change as
newer technology grows. At the turn of the century many homes were cleaned by hand, food was
prepared in stoves, and children played in sitting rooms or outside. Technology allowed for changes

witness America 's first International Air Meet at Dominguez Hills. I was going to get to ride in a
plane but missed my chance. Just by watching the air show, I was inspired by planes ever since. In
1915 I took several rides in Terah Maroney's plane. While very excited by this experience, I took
lessons at the Glenn L. Martin Flying School in Los Angeles. After those lessons I became a pilot

events and classroom endeavors. Parents are busy people and being sensitive to their time is
