in it
• Beside him a phone rings, he answers it and a voice says “your someone
who likes to set people challenges, you’ve had your chances to change but
refused to. In your penis is a capsule, you have 60 seconds to remove it or
you will be killed. Your challenge starts now.”
• The count down begins and is shown on the phone screen
• In a panic he quickly grabs the hammer and chisel to where the –ray
indicated the capsule was and tries to build up the courage to do it
• He shakes and flinches but raises his hand as if to do it

4. • One of the main focuses of the Saw film
series are the traps created for their victims.
In the movies, the serial murderer, Jigsaw,
places individuals into traps for having
wasted or misused their lives; each trap
serving the purpose of testing the victim's
will to live. As such, these devices force
subjects into near-death situations where
they are typically given the opportunity to
either save themselves or die. These traps
are referred to as games and the whole
concept of this film was very influential to
our plot. Similarly to saw, our film centres
around the idea of these life and death
situations being “games” or as we refer to
them as “challenges”. The challenges that
our protagonist faces are set up by an
antagonist that is clearly twisted, but again
similarly to saw is trying to teach the
protaginsit a lesson.

6. • Our film is targeted at those aged 15-45, both males and
females all though the violent nature and plot of our film

understanding of the mental affects and the mental battle
between the antagonist and protagonist.
