4. Company behind Jaisalmer Wind Park
´ Suzlon is Pune bases Indian wind power company started in back 1996 by
Tusli Tanti (CMD).
´ Globally, Suzlon has installed over 18880 MW of wind power capacity in 18
countries.
´ Majorly in India Suzlon installed two about 1 GW Wind plants one at
Jaisalmer ,Rajasthan(1064 MW) & other at Kuttch Gujarat (1100 MW )
´ Suzlon filing its entire wind portfolio -- from the earliest 350 Kw model to the
latest S9X - 2.1 Mw series has been used to create the Jaisalmer Wind park.
´ The Jaisalmer wind park consists of a cluster of wind farm sites in Jaisalmer
district, including Amarsagar, Badabaug, Tejuva and Soda Mada.

6. NALCO Installed Wind Plant at Jaisalmer in 2014
´ The move is part of its foray into
other metals and the energy
sector.
´ This Rs.283-crore project was
executed through Gamesa Wind
Turbines Private Ltd. and it
involved erection of 56 wind
turbines, each of 850 KW rating .
v National Aluminium Company (NALCO) commissioned its second wind power plant at
Ludarva in Jaisalmer district of Rajasthan in 2014, with a capacity of 47.6 MW.
7. Oil India Installed 54 MW wind project in 2013 at
Dangri Village of Jaisalmer Rajasthan
´ The 54 MW project comprises of 27 wind turbine generator (WTG) units and
each unit has an installed capacity of 2,000 kw.
´ The project was completed at a cost of approximately Rs 360 crore and within
142 days from the date of issuing of letter of award (LOA) to the bidder.
´ OIL had established its footprint in renewable energy sector by commissioning a
13.6 mw wind project in Rajasthan last year, connecting it to the Power grid of
Rajasthan Rajya Power Vidyut Prasaran Nigam (RRVPNL) at Amar Sagar,
Jaisalmer.
