4. Our first location was in a house as it was meant to be a relaxed
location with high key lighting, however it was too high and
affected the mood and atmosphere of the opening.
So we took this into consideration when re-filming and changed
our location which was an abandoned car park, which is shown
in the pictures that the lights no longer turn on and there were
trolleys, chairs and litter everywhere, it was also so dark that we
couldn’t see anything without lights, this is why we chose this
location as low key lighting is a typical convention of a horror
movie and will help audience identify the genre, and the
location affects audiences view largely and is very important as
it is the first thing that is introduced (by an establishing shot)
