1. Location Shoot
Near st George's park
This is a photo we took as a practise
shot of where we would like to
film some shots for our music
video. The colour background
stands out well and it is
something different and has a
urban feel to it. We have taken a
wide range of different shots to
see what it will be like using this
background. Some teenagers like
graffiti art styles so having this in
our music video is also appealing
to our target audience.
2. Location Shoot
St. George’s park
We have chosen to film majority of our shots
within the park. We have chosen to focus
one of our versus using this bench as one
of our props. We are going to use the
bench but film from different angles, this
is two of the angles we have considered to
use. The top one is where we thought we
could have ‘the one that got away’ and his
new girlfriend sitting whilst Scarlett (the
main singer) walks past and sees them.
The bottom photo is much darker than the
top one and the picture was taken on the
same day this might mean we have to
brighten the shot during editing as we are
unable to get the lights there in the
location. With the stars I have marked
where we intend to have a camera shot
from each angle.
3. Location Shoot
St. George’s park
For these steps we thought we could
have Scarlett sat on the steps but at
the top then have a quick cut to her
sat at another step to create at
jumpy mixture at a more beaty
time of the song to add a different
effect to the music video. The steps
look a happy place to be with the
sun shinning on them so maybe be
filmed on happier part of the song.
We also had a side angle of the
steps to see what it would be like
from all angles. I like the side on
the left more as on the right it has a
slope which I personally think ruins
the shot.
4. Location Shoot
St. George’s park
The duck pond could be more of
a romantic location to have a
clip of the music video. We
have decided to have a scene
in which is flashbacks to when
the young couple was in-love
and this can be one of the
locations where see the clip of
the past. With these clips we
would have to have side shots
as we would need to see the
pond and the path in which
the characters would be stood
on.
5. Location Shoot
St. George’s park
With the trees I thought it would be
a good idea to have a shot where
it would aslo be a shot of the past
of them having a flirt and cuddle
scene chasing each other around
the trees and then cut to a
present scene where she comes
back from the trees and he isn’t
there following her and she
realise he isn’t coming after her
anymore. For this I think a long
shot would be a good shot to use
as then we get a full shot of what
is happening between them.
