In January the people from Ronciglione starts making their
own masks for the big parade that takes place at the end of
February

In Ronciglione during the Carnival’s period there are a lot
of traditions. One of the oldest is the Ussari’s ride which
consist of a group of knights that do a long parade along the
main street of Ronciglione.

famous?
Ronciglione is very famous
because of the big carnival
floats which are literally
enormous and every year the
theme of every single
carnival float change.
10. but that’s not all!
In Ronciglione we have another interesting tradition. It’s
like the daily parade but this one takes place in the middle
of the night and it’s without any carnival float.
Some groups of friends gather and organize by themselves a
masquerade. Then they go at midnight in the square of
Ronciglione and they challenge with other groups to know who
has the most orginal mask.
