WHAT IS IMMERSION PROPER?
The immersion proper is the actual
demonstration of students’
knowledge, skills and attitude in
performing certain task. This will be
undertaken within 60 hours.
WHAT ARE THE
REQUIRED WRITTEN
DOCUMENTS FOR
IMMERSION PROPER?
1. WRITTEN NARRATIVE AND PICTURES OF
THE WORK IMMERSION SETTING
In preparing the written narrative, students will describe
the place or venue where they will be conducting the
activity. This may include the chosen working area
where they can freely perform the required tasks with
minimal disruptions. This can be supported with pictures
and they should be able to come up with appropriate
caption.
2. WRITTEN REPORT/
ILLUSTRATIONS/PICTURES ON THE
ACTIVITIES PERFORMED
• Students will document their day to day activities
starting from the beginning of their project until such
time that they are done with all the tasked assigned to
them. This can be done by writing a short paragraph
about the activities they are doing every day. Adding
pictures of such will be a great help.
3. DAILY DIARY
This includes students’ everyday stories of what
have they learned and what have they achieved
in performing the tasks. They can also include
the problems they encountered and how did
they come up with desirable solutions.
4. WORK IMMERSION HIGHLIGHTS
• This includes meaningful activities that they met
during work immersion proper. Situations that
bring desirable result could be one. Innovations
that lead to productive circumstances can be
counted as part of their immersion highlights.
5. HOME- BASED WORK IMMERSION
RATING SHEET
• All the tasks that they will be doing will be
rated based on a given rubric. Work immersion
teacher and homebased work immersion
partner will be around to rate their actual
performance and the desired output.
