It was mine town and even today people can find
here natural mine museum.
In this town you can see the Bell-tower,
Town Hall and St. Katrin church
from 15th century.

8. Bardejov
Bardejov is precious historical town and it
belongs among the nicest and the most
gothic towns in Slovakia.
His part are urban gates built in 14th century.
Wallwork of town consists of several bastions.
Town hall was built at the
beginning of 16th century.

basilica, important sacral
building in Slovakia.
9. Levoča
It is situated in eastern Slovakia in
the region Spiš.

10. Nitra
Nitra is regional and at the same time the fifth
biggest city in Slovakia. Our town Vráble lies in this
district too.
Dominant of Nitra is the castle and a lot of sacral
sights,churches,the Calvary and complex of
historical buidings in Pribina square. The princes
Pribina, Svätopluk and Mojmír lived in this castle.

Trenčín –Monarch called
Matúš Čák Trenčiansky
made famous the castle
in this town.
Spiš castle was registered to UNESCO World
Heritage in 1993.
Spiš castle belongs to biggest
castles in Europa. It is created
by renaissance and gothic
buildings, that were built
gradually by various monarchs.
12. In the town Bojnice you can visit very beautiful
castle.
It is our national culture
memory.
Palfy family was the last
family living here.
The castles of Slovakia are connected with
many legends and stories, but about them we

13. Other monuments
Vlkolínec is a little old village with 45 houses and
people still live here. There are original wooden
houses characteristic for Central European region
and part of Slovakia in historical time.
The museum Vlkolínec was
written to UNESCO World
Heritage List in 1993.
Pribylina is beautiful culture monuments too, it is
Liptov village museum and show how people lived
in Slovakia in the past.
