Most important facts- just to give you an overview of our history:
1596 King Zygmunt III Waza placed here his residence
3 Mai 1791 first modern constitution was adopted here
Due to wars and complicated history of Poland, Warsaw was often destroyed by different enemies and rebuilt at least 6 times. The current plan of Warsaw was established by the end of XVII century.
In II World War heavily bombed, nearly deprived of population, survived and raised like phoenix from the ashes to grow and show you beautiful places and culture. It also gives you opportunity to meet fantastic people.

ŻOLIBORZ we selected here some special places to visit and will guide you there for one exceptional day!
Żoliborz before 1830 was the most beautiful district of Warsaw. Then it was ruined by Russian to build CYTADELA- the control and pacification fortress, which was also a prison. After 90 years the district recovered and now is a great place to visit.
10.00 o’clock
Let us start in park Żeromskiego. You can find here some old nice- restored buildings, rest of Fort Sokolnickiego. By the gate a monument commemorating brave action of polish soldiers during World War II.
In the park is café, small regional cinema and playground for children. Good breakfast and delicious café is served in Prochownia.
11.00 o’clock
Nice walk through beautiful old streets and villas in so called “Żoliborz oficerski”, where in the 20s, famous generals and officers were living. Walk towards the main Cytadela museum.
12.00 o’clock
Visit Cytadela Museum.
13.00 o’clock
Go back to Inwalidów Square. Time for a lunch in one of some nice restaurants situated here (Żywiciel, Głodomory, da Aldo).
15.00 o’clock
Walk along ul. Mickiewicza towards Wilson Square. On the left side under address Mickiewicza 27, one of the most important polish activists in the 80th Jacek Kuroń was living here. Going along small streets behind this left side of the street you can find some nice small parks, cafés (Smaki Warszawy)
to finally rich the Stanisław Kostka church.
16.00 o’clock
Visit the Stanisław Kostka church. Here is the grave of Jerzy Popiełuszko a priest who hold patriotic sermons and was murdered in 1984 by polish Secret Security Service.
17.00 o’clock
Walk through Wilson Square towards Vistula River bank and dinner at the Olympic Center with panoramic Warsaw view.
