2. This is the first picture that I am going to be analysing. I chose this picture to analyse as I think it is conventional for my genre that
I picked for my music video. This picture is a close up, I think this makes it conventional as it only shows the main characters in
the picture but it shows how the women is looking at the man and how the man is looking back at the women. I think this makes
it conventional as in my genre love is a main thing that most of the music videos and songs are about and this shows that they
looking t each with lust which goes along with the genre of the music.
3. This is the second picture that I am going to analysing. This picture is another close up and it is showing how the women is sad
holding the mans hand from the other picture. I think this is a conventional picture as this shows that the women is in distress
because of the man, this is conventional as it shows that she cares about him. I think this is also stereotypical as the women is
the one who is sad which goes along with the typical stereotype of a women as they are normally more emotional and from this
picture you can see she is emotional. Also this picture uses shallow focus which shows that the women is the main focus of the
picture and the people in the background are not important.
4. This is the third picture that I am going to be analysing. This is picture is a close up of the man but because it shows the space
around and the women's legs it would be classed as a wide shot. I think this a conventional picture as it shows how the man is
looking up at the women which makes the women look like she is above him. I think this not stereotypical as the picture shows
the women as being the dominant sex but the normal stereotype the man is normally the dominant one so it would normally be
the women looking up at the man. Another reason why I think this is conventional is because the man in the picture looks happy
which goes along with my genre as the mood is normally happy.
5. This is the fourth picture that I am going to be analysing. This picture is a close up and it shows how the man isn’t really paying
any attention to the women who is sitting behind him, I think shows that the man is the more dominant person in the picture. I
think this picture is conventional for my genre, this is because I think this picture shows romance as the women is looking at the
man with passion in her eyes. I also think how the man at the front of the picture isn’t in the good lighting and you can barely see
his face because it’s the lighting isn’t on the man face, this shows the man at the front of the picture isn’t really important unlike
the other two characters who's faces are a more visible which shows that they important as you can actually see them.
6. This is the fifth picture that I am going to be analysing. This is a close up of the two main characters kissing. I feel this scene is
conventional because it shows the emotional attachment between the two characters. It is conventional because my genre of
music is normally to do with love and this scene clearly shows love. Also the Mise-en-scene shows they are in a car which menas
they are in it with just them and no one else.
7. This is the sixth scene that I am going to be analysing. This is a wide shot as it shows the back ground as well as the main
characters. This is a conventional scene because it shows the distress in the women's face because she is concerned about what
is going to happen to her man. This could imply that the women loves the man which make it even more conventional because
for my genre of music there is normally love involved.
8. This is the seventh and last picture that I am going to be analysing. This is a wide shot which shows the background as well as the
character. The Mise-en-scene isn't very organised as there is random things on the floor which looks like it could be rubbish or
broken up things. This could be trying to resemble her life of how things are going down hill and things are rubbish in her life at
the minute. The facial expressions of her is very stereotypical as it is showing distress which is stereotypical for a women because
they are normally the more emotional gender.
