QUESTION 6
E VA L U AT I O N
TECHNOLOGIES AND EQUIPMENT I
USED MAKING MY MAGAZINE
• Photoshop
• Fontspace.com
• Surveymonkey
• Iphone 7
• Microsoft publisher
MICROSOFT PUBLISHER
• This was the main program I used to make my magazine because this was where my
magazine pages were actually created.
• I think this program allowed me to create my pages without to much hassle because
this is a very simple and easy to use program but at the same time it is a very effect
program to use because the end product is to a very good standard.
• I also think it allowed to use my own skills because its not a complicated program to
use so it allowed me use all of skills to create my pages to what I think is a good
standard.
• Finally I think it allowed me to make mistakes but as easily as I made them it let me
take them away which is very good because then it didn’t matter if I messed up a piece
of the page.
MICROSOFT PUBLISHER
This is the first steps
on the making of my
front cover.
This is the next
step of the
making of my
front cover. This
picture shows
changes to the
front cover with
extra tings
added in which I
wouldn't of been
able to do
without
publisher.
This picture
shows more
changes.
Some these
changes are that
the cover stories
have been
slightly moved
and a main
picture has been
added in but not
This picture sows
changes as well
because tis is
almost the
finished front
cover. The
change that has
been made is
the main image
has been moved
into the correct
area.
SURVEYMONKEY
• This is a website that lets you create a survey on what you want to be about and then
wither send it out by email or put it on the website so people can answer your
questions that you want to ask.
• I think this website allowed to create my pages to a better standard because I was able
to send out surveys to help me get information that I needed to create my pages, for
example I was able to send out surveys to see what type of target audience I was going
to make my pages for. This meant I was able to collect the data from the survey and
then try and make my magazine for the target audience.
SURVEY MONKEY
This is survey monkey and
this is where I made my
surveys for my magazine.
There are 3 parts to survey
and this is the first part. This
picture shows some the
questions that I used for my
survey.
This picture shows the third
part to survey monkey, this
part is where you analyse
you results that you got
from your survey.
This is the second part to
survey monkey where you
choose how you want to
distribute your survey out to
people. It gives you 3
choices, the 3 choices are
either embedding it, sending
it by email or a web link.
PHOTOSHOP
• This was a very big program in the making of my magazine. This is because this is the
program that used the most except Microsoft publisher which was the program that I
actually made my magazine on.
• I think this program allowed me to make sure that my pictures where up to a good
standard because if there was a background that needed taking away then I would put
the picture on Photoshop which meant that the picture was okay to go on the page for
the magazine.
• I also think that this program allowed me to make sure my headings where up too a
good standard as well because if they wasn’t then I would also put them on Photoshop
to try and sort them out, for example if they needed changing colour then it was easy
to put then on here change then the colour
PHOTOSHOPThis picture is a picture that
I used at the start for my
contents page but I had to
Photoshop to take away the
background so that it could
look more conventional for
my magazine.
This is a picture showing
the background one and
this happened by using
Photoshop and deleting the
background to make it
white.
This picture shows the
finished picture being used
on my contents page.
IPHONE 7
• This product was a main part in the production of my magazine. This is because if I
didn’t use this then I wouldn’t actually have a magazine.
• I think this product allowed to take a picture to a very good standard because it has a
very good camera on it, which helped me because then I had a good phone which had
a good camera on it so I could take good and detailed pictures to go on my pages.
IPHONE 7
Here are some of the pictures that I took using the iPhone 7. these pictures show
that the iPhone was a good choice to use because the quality of the pictures are
very good.
FONTSPACE.COM/ DAFONT
• This is an online program that you can use to help you find a good font that suits your
genre and target audience.
• I used this website to help me find the right font that suited my genre and target
audience. This website made the production of my magazine a lot easier because I
didn’t have to try and make up the fonts that I needed for my magazine.
FONTSPACE.COM/ DAFONT
Here are some the fonts that’s I found on the websites above. The pictures show
the fots that I could of used for m front cover mast head.
