2. CAMERA.
FUJIFILM FINEPIX
DIGITAL CAMERA
• This digital camera is my own personal
camera, that I use at home.
• I used this digital camera for the taking of
my photographs for my music magazine
• I chose this camera, because I wanted
pictures of the highest quality
• Having high quality images will mean that I
will not need to edit the photo as much to
make it look good for my music magazine.
• Digital Camera Images take images in high
resolutions, adding higher quality
• In this task, I learnt how to take good shots
using this camera such as the Medium
Close-up, which I used in my music
magazine the most, as well as other shots
such as medium shots and close-ups.
3. SOFTWARE.
ADOBE
PHOTOSHOP CS5
• I had used Adobe Photoshop briefly before
doing my task, however hadn’t used the
features on it to it’s fullest
• For producing my main task, I used Adobe
Photoshop.
• As Photoshop is a professional photo
editing software, it will make my music
magazine look like a real music magazine
• I learnt that Photoshop allows me to add
filters to my images to make the images
more vibrant, more exposed and make the
image more bright
• I also learnt that Photoshop also allows me
to whiten their teeth, change their eye
colour, change their hair colour, to make
them look like a person that would be in a
music magazine.
• I really enjoyed using Photoshop and the
knowledge I got from using it in this course,
will possibly help with similar tasks in the
future.
4. SOFTWARE.
PREZI
• Before this task, I had never used Prezi before.
However, it was recommended to me, due to it
being an innovative way to show my work.
• I used Prezi to make some of my presentations for
my blog.
• Prezi allowed me to make a customisable
presentation, with special designs and animations
• Also, it is easy to embed my Prezi presentation
into my blog.
• However, I personally found it hard to use Prezi
over other software such as PowerPoint, so I
don’t think I used all the features it has to offer.
• Some of the problems I experienced included, not
knowing how to add new slides, which was a bit
of an issue for me.
5. MY BLOG.
WORDPRESS
• For my blog, I had to learn the blog that
I would be hosting all the work I did in
this task
• On this blog, I had to learn to customise
the menus on the blog, so that my work
was split neatly
• Also, I learnt how to customise my blog
to suit me, such as adding an image
header to my blog as well
• However, the blogs did experience
issues during my time working with
them, as they were closed for
maintenance on some days.
