1. Unit of length
To compare or measuring long object was required by measuring instrument. To
measure book length, pencil, finger, can utilize ruler. To measure floor broad, house high,
and table gets to be utilized by gauge or meter roll.
Satuan is standard that is used for footage is km,hm,draught,m,decameter,cm,and mm.
Km = kilometer km
Hm =hektometer hm
Dam =dekameter dam x 10
M =meter m
Dm = desimeter dm
Cm = sentimeter : 10 cm
Mm =millimeter mm
Of satuan tersebur's ladder is gotten:
1 km = 10 hm
1 hm = 10 draughts
1 draught = 10 m
1 m = 10 decameters
1 decameter = 10 cm
1 cm = 10 mm
So, 1 km = 10 x 10 x 10 m 1 m = 10 x 10 cm
= 1. 000 m = 100 cm

3. Example:
1. 2 km = 2 x 10
= 20 x 10 draughts
= 200 draughts
= 200 x 10 m
2. 1.750 m = 1.750 x 1 / 1.000 km
= 1. 750 / 1. 000 km
= 1,75 km
