audience, therefore during my
research and planning stages I
transmitted questionnaires,
this was very constructive as it
allowed me to create an idea
of what might attract my
audience. From this it allowed
me to pick the age group of my

my initial idea.
4. Ideas for my entire campaign
were based on my target
audience research. From my
audience feedback I learnt that
receiving constant feedback is
vital through out the different
stages of production. I used
different methods to receive
adequate feedback.
For example in the construction
stages of my ancillary tasks, I
received feedback via Facebook.
This helped me to receive sufficient
feedback and helped me choose a
specific colour scheme and style for
my magazine.
I also sent out an email using Hotmail
for ideas for the main image of my
poster, asking whether my audience
thought it was a good idea to use an
image for my background where the
main characters faces are not exposed.
In doing this it allowed me to receive a
vast range of answers, which were very
5. For my ancillary task evaluation I uploaded my poster and magazine
onto Wordpress whereby i gave people the chance to comment on
what they thought of it. Overall I received positive feedback, however
the poster seemed to be more popular than my magazine. This is due
to the fact that when producing my poster I was more comfortable and
confident with using Photoshop and experimenting with the different
effects.
6. To receive audience feedback of my teaser trailer I presented my Youtube video on Facebook. I
presented it via Facebook because I realised that in order to comment on a Youtube video one must
have an account, thus I thought I’d be able to receive more feedback if I put it up on Facebook where
my friends are free to comment.
I also sent out hard copies of feedback forms where I displayed my teaser trailer to people and then
asked them to fill out the form. Above I have displayed 3/10 forms I received. I gave my audience
specific questions such as ‘Is the genre of my teaser trailer clearly portrayed?’ All the answers
suggested that they all understood that my teaser was thriller/suspense. I further asked ‘what do you
think needs improving?’ some people said that the sound needs improving, to make it more intense
and scary. A way in which I think I could have improved the sound is if I created an edit decision list
for my sound. But due the fact that I was not experienced with Soundbase, I did struggle a little.
