The document discusses feedback received on various elements of a project from family, friends, and a focus group. For the front cover image, feedback indicated the third image was preferred. Criticism of initial images was that the model seemed small, so the chosen image was enhanced. For the contents page, adding a second layered image made it look nicer. Positive feedback was received for an advert page, with some thinking it was a real advert. Feedback on the website noted more pictures than text initially, so image titles were overlaid to provide information. Overall, the focus group enjoyed the tidy, easy to use design of the website.

3. Main image
In order to decide between the three images I had chosen as suitable for my front cover I needed a
second opinion. So I reached out to my focus group which was a group of friends who all shred the same
interests as me as well as being part of my target audience. I asked them which image they preferred
and they all agreed that the third image below was the best one to use, which I also thought too.
4. Feedback
In terms of feedback from family and friends it was
pretty much all positive. One criticism that one of my
friends pointed out was that all three of the main
images I had shot made the model seem quite small and
powerless. I didn’t want to create an idea of distance
between the reader and the front cover model so I
enhanced the image a little and zoomed in giving the
model more of a presence.
5. Another piece of feedback I received was for my
contents page. A family member told me that one image
alone for the contents wasn’t enough and that if I could
do something with two different images then it would
look a not nicer and fuller. So with that in mind I added a
second image and layered them in a slightly different
way to give off a nice aesthetic for the reader/viewer.
Upon making this change my relative then praised me for
the change and said that it looked much nicer with
multiple images, especially with the way they were
layered and sat nicely on top of the text.
6. In terms of very positive feedback, my advert page did
very well. My mum made a comment that at first she
thought I hadn’t made it and that it was a genuine advert
that I was researching to use as an example. This was
great to hear because it meant I felt I had achieved
exactly what I had set out to achieve with my advert.
This was good because it meant it was up to standard and
didn’t need changing and that the audience liked it and
that they would more than likely purchase the product in
real life.
7. I received most feedback about my website. Mostly
positive but there was one negative comment. That
being that there was more pictures than information on
the front page. At first I had just images as the
hyperlinks to lead on to articles. But I found that this
clearly was not a great idea and that I needed to add
titles to these images. With that in mind I also didn't
want to write little headings and create too much blank
space next to each image. So instead I laid the titles
over the top of the image at the bottom of each one.
This meant that I was able organize the images exactly
how I had planned, as well as give the necessary quick
and snappy information that my audience had required.
Aside from that my focus group really enjoyed my
website. They said it looked very tidy, easy to use and
above all they really liked the overall design of the
website.
