Having re-located to Madrid I spotted a gap in the Spanish market, setting up BLS to specifically assist
international companies improve their people’s management & interpersonal skills and confidence
using Business English.

My strategy has been to position BLS as offering a unique service, stressing the quality of our team and
the amount of innovation and creativity that goes into our learning interventions.

Moving the conversation away from “one-size fits all training” to tailor-made solutions has been hugely
successful and helped differentiate BLS from the competition.

   Successfully established high level contacts and won projects with key multinationals: BT,
    Citibank, Coca-Cola, Damco, Ernst & Young, IBM, KPMG, Lilly, Microsoft, Nokia Siemens
    Networks and Orange France Telecom.
   Collaborated with various organizations: Bloom Consultancy, The British Chamber of
    Commerce in Spain and several major Universities (ESIC, IESE and The Universidad Francisco
    de Vitoria).
   Demonstrated clear added value and return on investment, instilling huge confidence amongst our

   Mentored a number of Senior Spanish Executives in cross culture communications and business

International Projects

December 2006 - Relocated to Madrid.

   Group marketing and communication projects.
   Assisted product management with product launches.
   Managed the single biggest project in the company’s recent history (R5).
   Provided strategic advice and support to the Sales & Marketing Director during the launch of Eldon
    India.


R5 Project

Traditionally the colour of industrial enclosures was always beige (RAL7032). After the market leader
changed the colour of their industrial range to white (RAL7035) Eldon decided they would do the same.

A year in the planning, I coordinated the project with production, finance, logistics and each sales
country / export. The project was ready to launch on-time and was hailed a success internally and
externally.
