Spaas Kaarsen – (June 2016 – present)
One of the largest European suppliers of candles, the market leader in Belgium with a strong International
portfolio of customers. The major UK customers include Asda, Morrisons and Wilkos. Spaas offer both
branded and own label solutions across all categories associated with candles.
UK Sales Manager
Reporting to the European Commercial Director I have full P&L responsibility for my customers, 2 of which are
the number 1 and 2 customers in Spaas’ portfolio. Full negotiation of trading terms, agreeing all costings and
forecasts are part of my remit. Driving new business opportunities is also a key element of my role.
Major achievements/successes are:
• Developing and delivering new listings within Asda for their Spring/Summer ’17 selection
• Reducing the internal stockholding at Spaas for my accounts by 60% in 3 months
• Maintaining the Morrisons business into 2017 despite Brexit and major Far East competition
TV Toppers Ltd – (Jan 2014 to March 2016)
New set up company within the competitive market of ASOTV. Formed in January 2014, the aim was to deliver

JML’s company strategy and business plan. Two direct reports of Account Managers into me.
