NGC 1672, a barred spiral galaxy located in the direction of the southern constellation Dorado lies more than 60 million light–years away. This is a
spiral galaxy that's composed of stars in a central bar–shaped design. NGC 1672 is a member of the Seyfert galaxy, which was named after famous
astronomer, Carl Keenan Seyfert, who extensively studied galaxies with active nuclei in the 1940s. In the middle of NGC 1672's galaxy, it contains a
high surface brightness bar from which four wire–like spiral arms extend outwards. This galaxy's symmetrical look is mainly formed by the four
extending arms of which are bordered with the most spectacular dust lines that extend out from the center. Unlike the normal galaxies, NGC 1672's
arms do not fully spiral all the way to the center. The arms are actually connected to both ends of a linear–like bar of stars encompassing the nucleus. In

The Spiral Road is a perceptive series bringing together the humanistic view of the rise of the People Republic of China. Usually history is dictated,
but Huang' s ethnographic work is not just another text of narration. Huang makes the readers know history should be concerned with the people
involved, as much as it looks at the overarching politics. The book can be considered a series of stories that staunchly describes the continuing
revolution innate to the countryside of the PRC by this time in the late 1990's. Huang's relationship with Ye, the local party leader, and both of their

The repeated problem reading this book was a desire to know more, which sometimes was fulfilled in later chapters. However, the question of
validation was another. Ye just was not enough. His own behavior and practices of traditional storytelling and keeping alive the family value
suggested that the purge of traditions in countryside did not leave a significant result as wanted by the nationalist government. However, in the midst
of the book foreseeing the Cultural Revolution is overshadowed by Ye's tone describing his earlier political activism after end of Shaoqi's rule, where
his military aims transformed to a menial local post in his home village as a result of the Four Cleanup movement. Again, Ye's self

the bottom of the spiral. It was just a cool system that I had never thought of. I also got to try a passion fruit while I was there. I had never even
heard of them before. It was so good, and tasted like a bunch of tropical flavors mixed together. Best of all. It was grown in that garden. As a group we
helped Emilia with a couple projects in the garden. I helped make a path out of rocks. It ended up looking really good. It was really beneficial to see
a garden put together by college students, as it makes sustainable practices seem more feasible.
Week #10 (11/3) Flying FishFarm:
This farm was very interesting to me. The aquaponics were super cool, as that is always something I have been interested in. A teacher I had in
high school experimented with aquaponics, but it was on a much smaller scale. Her system was not as successful though, as she struggled with
some diseases. The owner of Flying Fish seemed much more successful. This is super cool to see new processes working for people. Another
unique aspect of his farm was that he did a lot of seedlings. That way he could sell the plants as a product. He said he sold his plants to places like
Earth Fare, which is very cool. Another unique thing was the popcorn that he grew. I have never had popcorn right from the cob, and I would like to
try it sometime after hearing the owner talk about it. A new thing that the owner was trying was chickens. He was talking a lot about growing his own
feed for them to make the feedback loop
