What? For my second lesson, I taught a math lesson on multiplying decimals with
zeros in the product. I wanted students to be able to show that they could multiply
with decimals in the product and I wanted them to be able to explain how they
know where to add the decimal point in the answer. This lesson was part of the unit
over decimals. Students will learn to add them, subtract, multiply, divide, and then
take a test for the unit. I decided to teach this lesson because this is what my teacher
had planned for the day and needed me to teach to keep her on track for the test.
Honestly, I was excited to teach a math lesson because it was a great refresher for
me. Overall, I was very satisfied with the way the lesson went. The students were
understanding the instruction I delivered and were giving the answers I had hoped
for. The students were on task and engaged for the entire lesson and when they
weren t engaged, I could draw or mention sticks and I would get more active
participation. Before I asked students to work independently or with a partner, I
modeled exactly what they should be doing and how they should do it. This made a
huge difference from my first lesson because there was no confusion. When I had
one students come up to the board and share their answer, everyone in the class had
the same answer. While I was formatively checking their understanding, this told me
that the way I was teachingwas working because they all understood the problem. I
really can not think of anything that did not go as I had planned or that I was not
happy with. Although, there was one point where my math was wrong because I
was not thinking logically. I need to make sure I slow down while I am teaching to
check my own work so I am not teaching the students incorrect information! The

Growing up in a very little town in Illinois was a lot different than growing up in
Houston, Texas. When I was in the fourth grade I found many things to have

separated into two tiers of justice . The two tiers of justice involve the separation of
lower and higher courts, where the lower courts are comprised of Local courts and

St. Johns Lutheran Church
For as long as I can remember, St. Johns Lutheran Church has been like a second
home. It is the church where I was baptized (for a second time), took first communion
and affirmed my faith through confirmation. I belonged at St. Johns. I was a member
of St. Johns.
As I entered adulthood, I had a natural instinct for organization and leadership and I
had a strong interest in using those talents to serve the church. I worked with youth
groups, participated in WELCA, served on the church council and it seemed there

lonesome and unwillingly expresses himself through violence and a series of
emotional collapses. The teen s way of coping is not beneficial to either him or is
family. A monster in the form of a Yew tree comes to visit Conor and guides him
towards the acceptance of truth. Although Conor is not oblivious towards his mother
s imminent death, he must learn from the monster to fully acceptthe condition she is
in, in order to move on with his life. The Yew tree monster guides Conor through
storytelling, thus teaching him the importance of accepting the truth. At times, the
monster takes a step back and this allows Conor to discover the importance of truth
slowly and independently. The way the monster approaches Conor and the tactics he
uses to enlighten him are the main reasons Conor develops throughout the novel as

emerged was prosperous, with many believing that God had rewarded them for

Girlhood, and Robert Frost s The Black Cottage, many saw New England as a

nostalgic look at what America used to be. However, this view is not entirely

Introduction
Team Building is the process of helping a work group become more effective in
accomplishing the task and in satisfying the needs of the group member.
Team building as it implies, is the process by which differences in organization are
ironed out through sectional solutions of misunderstanding within vertical groups
and horizontal groups and intra vertical and horizontal groups of such organizations.
The analogue of a football team, hockey team and other teams could be used. A team
is a group of players working together to win matches. This end in view is possible
if they will work with the team spirit , good feeling of those members working
together, as a team.
It is also a group of activities designed to enhance the effective operation of system
teams. It may relate to task issues, such as the way things are done, the needed skills
to accomplish task, the resources allocations necessary for task accomplishment or it
may relate to the nature and quality of the relationship between the team members or
between members and the leaders
It s always a good idea for the group to get to know each other before you begin,
especially when they will soon begin doing collaborative efforts through team
building and the other modules of this program. Some might assume that since the
students are all in the same class at the same school that they will already know one
