School Uniform
Girls uniform: White polo shirts, school sweatshirt/navy blue cardigan, grey skirt /pinafore/trousers, white socks or grey tights.
Boys uniform: White polo shirts and school sweatshirt, grey school trousers or shorts and grey socks.
Footwear: Sensible footwear should be worn at all times. Trainers and high heeled shoes are not part of our uniform.
School fleece (optional) is a lightweight jacket which may be worn as well as a sweatshirt and as an alternative to a coat and is
available from Rawcliffes of Southport as is the school sweatshirt and the new waterproof coat with the school logo. Sweatshirts
and Bookbags are available to purchase from the school office.
For health and safety reasons no jewellery or large bags should be brought into school. We do not have the space to
accommodate large bags in our cloakroom areas.
Dogs
Please remember that dogs are not allowed on any part of the school premises at any time. The only exception to this rule is
Guide Dogs.
Promotion of Fruit & Milk Schemes in Schools
Milk and fruit is provided to enable children to benefit from the nutritional value. Fruit is provided for each
child in Year’s R, 1 and 2 through funding from the National Lottery. Milk is paid for by the EU Milk Subsidy
Scheme and is provided for children who are under 5 years of age and in Year R .
Children in other year groups can bring in a piece of fruit from home, which they can eat at playtime. We ask
that only fruit or vegetables are sent in, no other foods are allowed including nuts as some children may have
a nut allergy.
Cycles & Parking in the Crescent
Children should not be cycling across the playground. They should walk their bicycles through the main
gate through to the back of the school and lock them up securely.
Parents need to be aware that cycles must not to be chained to the railings of the school grounds. This
upsets the residents of Norwood Crescent and we receive many calls of complaint.
Please give consideration when parking cars. The residents get very upset when cars are parked over
driveways preventing access to their homes.
School Photographer
The photographer will be in school on Tuesday 30th September to take individual photographs. Children should be in full school
uniform.
