1. IPC media is the UK's
leading magazine
consumer publisher.
Its market it mainly
dominated by adults,
both men and women,
as it produces
magazines such as
ācountry lifeā and
ācycling activeā.
It does produce the
music magazine NME
It's three main portfolios are:
but this does not fit the
- men's leisure and lifestyle (ie,
genre of my magazine
NME, decanter, nuts)
which is rap.
- mass market women's division (ie,
Look, Now, What's on TV)
- upmarket women's division (ie,
Marie Claire, In Style, woman&home)
2. This magazine distributor
has more experience in
the music field as they
work with various radio
stations, as well as having
Kerrang and Q as there
main music magazines.
Although neither of these
are of a āRapā genre, Q
has had the likes of Jay-z
as a feature article.
I feel as though this Bauer Media group
would be a suitable magazine distributor
as they will have the experience in the
music media business and already have
a large following for the two music
magazine's they're already offering.
