applicable in explaining the scene. Elaborate your answer.
Some of us watching movies are our hobbies to make stress release and some of us they watch
because they want something to learn, we have a saying “The whole of life is just like watching a
film. Only it's as though you always get in ten minutes after the big picture has started, and no-one
will tell you the plot, so you have to work it out all yourself from the clues.” In Cinema one
campus festival they give us a great movie to watch in high definition and to make appreciate the
Filipino films and make a treasure to the memory of us.
“SHIFT”
Estela is belong to call center industry, there’s a different people behavior in call center than
those who’s have a regular office hours. Estela is a tomboyish no-boyfriend-since-birth girl, she
caught in crisis of her quarter-life, she’s dreaming became asinger-songwriter and professional
photographer. Trevor is a gay senior agent of Estela’s team brought closer together because of
mentoring program initiated by their team leader. In the night shift industry, everything was so
very different. There’s no rush hour, when everyone is going home you are going to work or
they’re going to work when you’re going home and there’s a lot of taxi cabs around. There’s
only three places in night shift, coffee shop, convenience store and some of restrobars that open
24 hours.rest days can change, schedules can shift, sometimes even job security isn't guaranteed.
It is a totally different way of life, and a totally different culture. And I think this sense is
Attribution theory because it’s explain the cause of the behavior of a call center agent. And I see
the Social Penetration Theory Theoriston the movie because when Estela and Trevor are
spending time with each other they really getting to know deeper and their relation is develop.
When Estela decide to ignore Trevor because of her hidden feelings for him she’s now unsure
and doubting on her decision, if she continue ignoring Trevor or She will gonna say it to him.
Estela is afraid on what Trevor will say if she confesses and this scenario is Cognitive

2. “BLUE BUSTAMANTE”
Blue Bustamante is a story of an Overseas Filipino Worker (OWF) in japan. it’s a story of a
father From Zero to Hero. It’s not easy to go and to live to other country without you’re family
and to speak in the different language. George Bustamante is graduate in engineer and he want to
work in japan as an engineer but when he is in japan he don’t know what will happen there,
suddenly he’s not get what he want he don’t know what to do, I think this scenes is Cognitive
Dissonance Theorist because he decide to go but he find himself doubting on his decision.
George have a son his name is Kiko, when kiko celebrating his birthday he expecting that his
father are going home but he’s not there. This scenes is Expectancy Violation Theorist. When
kiko and his friend bullied, he and his friend watch Force Five where his father have a role of
Blue Force, whichkikofavorite character. They understand what Force Five do they accept and
adopt it and I think it’s Reinforcement Theory.
“WOMAN OF THE RUINS”
The Woman of the Ruins is a story of a woman that carried by storm in one island, There’s a
catastrophic event in the island in its past years. And they said the woman return in island and its
miracle the woman name is maria. Is seen a Elaboration Likelihood Model Theorists cause when
the women carried in the island people there pushing her that she is Maria even Maria is dead.
When Ysabel is hiding to her feeling to Pasyon She’s lie to Pasyon and Maria that she has a deep

How did the movie represent the Filipino people? What theory did you notice that was

Ganito Kami noon, Paano kayo ngayon is themovie that show what happened on the
phillipiness in Twenty century during the revolution of Filipino against in Spaniards the
movie message is how Pilipino today than the year where the Philippines conquer by
Spaniards cause when Spaniards came there’s a different kinds of Filipino, There have a fake
Filipino with Spaniards said there are the real Filipino and the true Filipino called them Indio
or The Lowest Class of People, the movie show how Filipino worth for fighting for the
freedom of us as a Filipino citizen and the film show that not all Spaniards is bad some of
them is helpful but they need some condition for have them a helpful hand. The movie
represents the Filipino people using one character and that is Nicolas Ocampo or “Kulas” the
movie tell about the adventure of little farmer goes in adventure of revolution of Filipino in
Spaniards and the revolution in Filipino – American. When he has an all things it’s all new
for him that the priest gives it to him he realize that he is just an ordinary farmer Filipino,
The adventure of him is the adventure of just a person and just a Filipino but a truly Filipino
