                     Identifying your resources

Consider the festival you are planning to stage and answer the following questions:

Where will your festival take place? (Will events be staged at your school/college or another venue?)

      • All events will take place in one location which is our school (CFGS College Terrace Centre).

      • Some events/activities will take place inside the school building.

      • Some event/activities will take place outside the school building and in the school
             playground.

What equipment do you need? (This will depend on the type of events being staged, e.g. you may
need sound equipment if one if your events is a concert.)

      • Sound stereo system for music and lightings for the performances that will take place.

      • Clipboards and plenty of pens.

      • Tables and chairs for some of the stalls.

      • Mats for the faith room where they may be doing yoga practices.

      • Popcorn machine for the film room

      • Camera, camera tripod and a white big sheet for the photograph booth.

      • Musical instruments e.g. drums, guitar, keyboard piano etc.

      • Microphone

What materials do you need? (Are any artefacts being made specifically for the festival? What will be
needed for the production of promotional materials such as posters and leaflets?)

      • Professionally made flyers to hand out to the public.

      • Posters to stick on school notice boards, around the building, outside etc.

      • Assembly in our school as well as others schools. (Need to book a day if we want to do this).

      • T-shirts so people can see and read it.

Who will be contributing to the festival events? (Will you need help and support from people such as
teachers and technicians? What will your own role be?)

        • Volunteers from students from our school who are over the age of 14 years old.

        • ICT technicians in case we have any technical issues.

                                                                                                                                                                Diploma Level 2  Information Technology

               that may occur.

of the day. After my 10 minute break I will be in charge of the film room.
