Describe your role and responsibilities in the performance project.
My role is an actor. I play a character called Caroline who loves sports activity. My role is very different to
everyone else because it is more difficult to play a character that you obviously know you haven’t got skills for. But
I took the challenge and made my character stand out more.
My responsibility in the performance project is ‘Assistant Director’. I organise rehearsal dates, I take down
attendance on who have been coming to rehearsal or not. I find classes or space for us to rehears in. If the
‘Director’ is not in i take on their role and lead the performers in the rehearsal or meeting.
Who will you be working with? How will you ensure that everyone in your team is working efficiently?
I would be working with my Creative and Media student in my class. I would make sure that everyone is playing
their part correctly and if not we will all help the individual classmate to where she is caught on.
Describe the tasks you will be undertaking in the final stages of the preparation process and during the
performance itself. Include deadlines for completion of individual tasks.
We will be taking on variety of tasks in the stages of preparing and finishing the project. We all have schedule of
deadlines that need to be meet and homework for any specific things that need to be look on deeply. When going
towards the finish line of the project, that is when the hard work begins as we will be sound check to find the right
timing of sound/music, we will be doing technical lighting rehearsal making sure that all the lights are in the right
place. All of our big/small task need to be completed by June th2 2nd.
Describe any contingency plans you have in place to ensure deadlines are met.
I have a reasonable timetable on what need to be done and what need to be improved on.
Describe the resources you will be using, indicating their availability.
In our performance project, we don’t need a lot of resources all we really need is chairs, bench and posters. And
we have enough chairs and benches in our school ground so the availability of the resource is secure.
How will these resources be managed to ensure they are used efficiently?
The resources are everywhere when we need to rehears and they will definitely be used efficiently as the
resources are nearly in all of our scenes.
