Having discussed the different research methods that you may choose to employ when
working on your investigations into the scene in your region, you should move on to
drawing up plans to carry out your own research.
To begin with, choose one creative and media activity from the list below and answer the
questions about how you would go about investigating these activities in your region:
 Screening of films
 Production of graphic design products
 Exhibition of artwork.
1 What research methods might you use to investigate these activities?
For research method on Exhibition of artwork: I will go on Google type in Exhibition of
artwork and I will look at the variety of information that comes up. Also I will find one of
the Exhibitions of artwork websites and see what information I can get from there. And if
I find one of the locations of one of the Exhibition of artwork I would get leaflets and
other information or guide I can find
2 What resources would you need to conduct this research?
I will need the computer for the internet.
3 Would you need to make any arrangements prior to conducting this research? I
just need to make sure that all the website are reliable by arranging that a teacher should
help me for 5 minutes to see that the websites or results for my research are reliable
enough.
4 What kinds of materials or information might you expect to find from conducting
this research activity?
I am expecting to find details of information for my research such as: I am
expecting to know what date the Exhibition of artwork are open or close, I am
expecting to find what sort of work would be on exhibition. And I am expecting to
find the history of the Exhibition of artwork on how they started the exhibition.
5 How would you store your findings from this research? I would Copy and paste
the information and the URL that I have found on word document and save it on my USB
