Devised performances
Consider the aims of a devised performance piece of your choice, answering the questions
below.
What is the theme of the piece? Shhh
Why did we choose the theme? (E.g. what was it about the theme that excited and/or inspired us.)
The whole class decided to choose this name because we all thought it goes with the mime performance.
This is because we wanted our audience to ask question about the title of the show and we thought this
will get them interested to come and watch when we release the date to them.
Who is it for? (E.g. family audience, teenagers, pre-school children.)
Our target audience is every one we have bits about teenagers act in school and we have fan and fanatic
and restaurant and the bus scene which goes to having everyone see the performance show. We have bits
of everything that most people like to watch.
What do we want our piece to do? (E.g. shock, amuse, educate.)
We want our piece to amuse our audience.
What style(s) of performance will we use? (E.g. naturalism, musical theatre.)
Musical because we want background sound to go with the scenes and have some effects to the pieces
What are the dramatic possibilities of the piece? (E.g. for plot and character development,
staging.)
The dramatic part is the characters that are in the performance because each character is different and
has it’s own way to amuse the audience.
