Sub. এবাং finite verb সমন্বয়ে গঠিত
একটি sentence যখন স্বাধীন sentence
এর অাংশ হিসায়ব কাজ কয়র তখন
তায়ক Clause বয়ে.

1. He gave me a gold chain.
2. He gave me a chain which is made off gold.

Principal sub ordinate co ordinate

5. Principal Clause
যয clause অর্থ প্রকায়শর জন্ অন্ Clause এর
উপর হনর্থ র কয়র না তায়ক Principal clause
বয়ে।
এয়ক Main/ independent clause বো িে।

The enemy attack us when we were sleeping.

7. Sub-ordinate Clause
• Complex sentence গঠন করার জন্ যয সব
clause – Principal clause যক সািায্ কয়র তায়ক
sub-ordinate clause বয়ে।

8. Sub-Ordinate Clause সাধারণত sub-ordinate
conjunction দ্বারা যুক্ত র্ায়ক।
Sub-ordinate conjunction:
As, As if, As though, Though, Although, After, As
soon as, As long As, Before, After, Because,
Since, That, so that, Provide , Provided , if,
than, now that, who, which, that, until, till,
Unless.

10. Co-ordinate Clause
দুই বা তয়তাহধক Principal clause যখন
coordinate conjunction দ্বারা যুক্ত িয়ে একটি
Compound sentence গঠন কয়র তখন তায়ক
Co-ordinate clause বয়ে।

11. Co-ordinate Conjunction
And, But, Yet, Otherwise, Not only…………but
also.
Example: I went there and found him ill.

1. Noun Clause.
2. Adjective Clause.
3. Adverbial Clause.

13. Noun Clause
যয সকে sub-ordinate clause – noun এর কাজ
কয়র তায়ক Noun clause বয়ে।
Principal Clause এর verb যক what দ্বারা প্রশ্ন
করয়ে যয উত্তর পাওো যাে তাই তায়ক Noun
Clause বয়ে।

He said that he would go home.

15. Adjective Clause
যয সকে sub-ordinate Clause – sentence এ
Adjective এর কাজ কয়র।

16. Example
The boy who came here is my brother.
 There is a book that I bought.

17. Adverbial Clause
যয সকে Clause – verb/ Adjective যক modify
কয়র তায়দর Adverbial Clause বয়ে।

18. Example
When I was five, I went to school.
My shadow follow me wherever I go.
I am glad that you have come to see me.
We eat so that we may live.
