1. Final Evaluation.
I believe that this task was very successful. By using my research and my questionnaire I found out
some important information such as how colour is important and that students are finding that
college magazine often target the wrong topics and is not catching their attention. In my
questionnaire I found that students would prefer to find out about music events, clothing etc. And
this is what I did. I used red as my college magazine colour as this would attract to both sexes and
this was the students preferred colour in my questionnaire. The central image I used linked with my
research. From my research I found that students wanted a typical happy student on the front cover.
So, I chose I typical student, it was very simple and relatable. Through my preliminary task I learnt
how to use topics colour etc. to target my audience, and I think this worked very well. If I could do
my preliminary task again I would want to have double the people to answer my questionnaire. This
would have meant I would get more reliable results. I would also quite like to have a variety of
images to choose from for my front cover central image. But overall I am happy with my preliminary
task and I think I focused on relatable and interesting topics.
