• I love it! I like the link between with the yellow text and the black and white colour
scheme. The font is nice and I like the dots beteween MYLO. There is quite a lot
of text in the box at the bottom which could get confusing. Instead of saying
where it will be available to buy, you could just put images of the logos which
will imply where you can buy it. I love the reviews and the institutional logos. I do
think you need to make the release date on another line or in a bigger font because
it wasn’t obvious. Also, include something about it being a special edition digipak
which is the key feature of the release.

Very effective use of colour – the yellow works really nice against the black and white
and nicely links into the music video (colour of dresses)

The use of photography is very successful as it represents the artist effectively and
conveys the genre really well

Definitely conventional for a mag advert in terms of image, fonts and all of the right
institutional information
Very strong image, I really like it also conventional in terms of framing and colour, well
manipulated
The yellow makes the artist name stand out
Maybe make some of the text a bit bigger as it is a little hard to read and make the
itunes logo transparent against the black
5. GEORGIA
• I really like your choice for the main photo. It is a very good image, very clear and
focused. The use of black and white works very well and I like the use of the yellow
text against the dark, adds a nice contrast. One thing I would suggest is make
the photo the full length rather than a black block cutting a quarte for the text,
I think that the making it the full length would add more of a simplistic outlook
but even if you didn’t do this it still looks very good.

• the picture works well, it isn’t too simple and there isn’t too much going on, the use
of everything being black and white is good and the title being in yellow is very
effective it has an aesthetic view to it
• The release date stands out well due to the larger font and it in bold
• The use of the institutional information is good and people can clearly see what is
what
• The photography is well shot and manipulated possibly to make it darker
8. SOPHIE
• Your magazine advert looks entirely conventional, matches the aesthetic of your
video and is quite professional looking.
• I like the choice of font and the linear layout, having it all at the bottom with the main
subject of the image nearer the top also looks suitable.
• I think its great that you have included a different colour text because it makes it
stand out and clearly indicates who the artist is.
• You have the suitable information at the bottom of the ad and this adds to the high
quality, professional level of work you have created.
