1. Production Reflection

2. Process
Firstly, I found an image of Harry Kane, which looked like a suitable image to
choose, since it was portrait, which made creating the cover much easier. After
fining the image that I needed to use for my project, I proceeded to get rid of
the back ground so that I could make the image of the player to pop out more,
with the solid colour in the background. After deleting the background of the
Harry Kane image and adding the most popular worldwide colour, blue, I
continued to add borders to the cover to make the cover look better.
So far the base of the cover was well structured and I knew that I could build
from this, to make something that looks really good.
Overall, the tools that I used in this were rectangular marquee tool for the
borders, paint brush for the filling in the borders with colour and the
background. I also used images adjustments, like hue, vibrancy and brightness
and contrast, to make the colours as visually appealing as possible.

3. Process
• After that, I started adding text, such as the title “FOOTBALL”, which
turned out very well since it was red on white, which made the red
text aesthetically stand out. I think that the navy blue
complemented the red, better then I thought.
• I feel like this cover that I made is very good for my skill level
because compared to other produced covers, it has similar
quality's… However that doesn’t mean that I couldn’t have made
this better, because I could have.
• The overall layout of this cover is very good in my opinion, since
pretty much every thing is in proportion.
• I think that a micro-implementation that I think made this cover look
a lot better was the “2019”, going downwards, down the red long
rectangle because it added a very stylistic effect.

4. Process
• This double page spread was something that I
wasn’t similar with, since I had never dived into
this type of style. This was very good because I
could learn new skills and ideas that I could apply
to other areas f my work, so in that respect it was
very beneficial.
• I wanted to make my double page spread a gallery
page because I knew that wouldn’t take as much
text to be written.
• One thing that I am quite proud of is the colour
effect that I managed to make with layering and
the selected hue & saturation to make the only
part of the image to be saturated, the player.
• I think that I am proud of this work, however I
think, it I were to spend more time on it, I would
be able to make it much better.
