The first Core i3 processors were launched on January 7, 2010.
Feature of Core i3 Processor
Feature:
 Very high as compared to the previous configurations of Intel
processors.
 3.06 GHz and 2.93 Giga hertz core speed.
 They have four processing threads that enables multithreading and
multi tasking.
 4 mega byte additional Cache memory.
 Double channeled DDR with 1333 Mega hertz memory sequence.
 14 nm process (14FF+).
 Intel HD Graphics 630.
 It will add native HDCP 2.2 support.
 Along with fixed function decode of H.264, VP9 10-bit and 8-bit video.
 Hardware encode is supported for H.264.
Feature:
 Kaby Lake is the first Core architecture to support hyper-threading for the
Pentium-branded desktop CPU SKU.
 Kaby Lake also features the first overclocking-enabled i3-branded CPU
 Coffee Lake microarchitecture (8th generation) have 4 core

Advantage & Disadvantage
 Cheap
 The Core i3 processor has the ability to run two independent programs
with one hardware.
 Processors have improved Pentium base.
 New architecture with more integrations and high speed performance
structure.
 Better performance with more reliable outputs than the earlier version.
Advantage:
 It has 4 tasking threads that allows user to easily execute 3 to 4 programmed
at a time.
 This processor consists of 2-4 cores.
 Smart memory and cache sequence allows user to enjoy the optimized and
efficient data access both direct and sequentially.
 Effective shortcuts have reduced the access time of the file and system.
 Intel HD 630 graphical features allows 3D graphics and 4K video playback.
Disadvantage:
 Slower than latest version (Core i5,i7 & i9) processor.
 Get over-heated.
 The limitation it imposes on the size of data.
 This requires the use a an ISA(Industry Standard Architecture)-
specific compiler, and ISA-compliant operating system.
 Graphics quality is low than latest version.
