2. FADE IN:
INT. CLASS ROOM DETENTION - DAY GREY AND RAINY
The class room has around seven students without a
teacher the words DETENTION BE QUIET written in block
letters on it.
BRANDON, 16 is sitting in the corner of the room, away
from other students, is staring out of the window looking
nervous.
Whip pan to random student near him.
RANDOM STUDENT NO.1
What are you looking at?
BRANDON
Oh! Nothing just bored.
Slow pan to outside the window, pan motivated by BRANDON
slowly looking out of the window. An ominous figure can
be seen wearing a mask staring back up.
The school bell is heard and the student all rush out of
the door. BRANDON methodically gets up out of his chair
and keeps glancing out of the window each time the
ominous figure can be seen and then for the last time
disappears as students pour out of the school.
BRANDON
(Takes deep breath)
BRANDON walks towards the door looking nervous. Camera
whip pans to RANDOM STUDENT No. 2
RANDOM STUDENT NO. 2
What’s up, man? You’ve were
staring out the window all
detention.
cuts back to BRANDON.

BRANDON
Yes I’m fine. Leave me alone!
EXT. SCHOOL BRANDON WALKING HOME
As he is walking home the camera remains fixed on
BRANDON’s face as he gets more and more nervous. Every
now and then the camera cuts to BRANDON’s POV seeing the
ominous figure.
People can be heard as he is walking home but music
builds to eventually get louder than the people. Sharp
ringing in his ears also getting louder and eventually
getting louder than the music at which point his mom
lunges at him to hug him all the noise in the background
stops.
Mom is a jump scare for him and the audience. BRANDON
rejects the hug his mother looks concerned and he walks
into the house.
INT. CABIN DAY
BRANDON walks into cabin and gets into bed to go to
sleep. He scrunches his eyes up trying to get to sleep as
he is uncomfortable.
EXT. CABIN DAY
Time-lapse of the cabin going from day to night as
BRANDON sleeps.
INT. CABIN NIGHT
BRANDON can be seen writhing about in bed and is suddenly
awoken a sudden image of the ominous figure.
BRANDON gets up and looks reluctantly out of the window
and sees the ominous figure.
The figure is standing still staring back at BRANDON. He
slowly puts and hand on his mask to take it off, he then
reveals his face to be the same as BRANDON’s. BRANDON
appears horrified.
The figure slowly starts to move towards the window as
music starts building. The camera slowly tracks towards
the window as if from the figures perspective and then
goes through the window.
BRANDON shuts his eyes expecting the worst at which point
the music goes all quiet. BRANDON walks around his room
scared for his life.

BRANDON
(Takes deep breathes)
The figure can be seen behind BRANDON with shadows
covering his face. The figure puts his hand on BRANDON
making him turn around. The figure disappears and BRANDON
turns back around to a jump scare from the figure.
INT. CABIN EVENING
BRANDON Suddenly wakes up horrifies covered in sweat, he
looks at the clock and sees the time 4:26pm. He gets up
out of bed and sits on the bed contemplating the recent
events. He walks up to a mirror and the reflection
looking back at him is the ominous figure. He walks out
of the cabin.
