What’s in the shot
The teenagers will be leaving the house and loading the car
with all of their camping gear, including bags, coats, sleeping
bags and a tent etc. ready for their trip.
The camera will focus on the teenagers putting their luggage
into the car. The camera will zoom to the boot of the car.
The teenagers will be smiling and laughing; looking happy and
excited as they begin their first ever adventure without any
parents.
The car will drive away from the house, into the distance. The
car will obviously be driving to the camp (although the whole
drive will not be shown).
The teenagers will set up the camp.
The teenagers will be having fun through playing team games.
The teenagers will show that they are having fun through their
facial expressions; smiling and laughing.
The teenagers are sitting around where they have set up camp.
The antagonist character will be in the background of the shot.
The trailer will flash back to the antagonist’s past showing the
antagonist’s Mother being killed. This will show the reason why
she has psychological issues.
The antagonist will be sitting in the corner of her room alone (as
a young child) with all her toys scattered around.
The antagonist will be extremely sad after the death of her
Mother. She will have her knees up with her head in her hands
whilst she is crying.
There will be a newspaper article showing that there was a girl
left alone in the woods after her Mother was murdered. There
will also be a picture of the young girl. This will obviously relate
to the antagonist character who is alone in the woods.
Whilst the teenagers are sitting around one of the characters
will hear strange noises and become very scared.
After the character hears the noises the camera will flick back
to where the antagonist was standing and she will not be there;
the space will be clear.
Protagonist character will be standing there and there will be a
clear space around them in the woods.
The antagonist character will be in the same framing as the
protagonist character. The antagonist character will become
closer and closer by walking towards them.
There will be cutting of the antagonist character becoming
closer and closer.
There will be a close up of the protagonist character looking at
the space to see the antagonist coming closer and closer. The
antagonist will scream.
The antagonist character will become closer.
The antagonist character will be right next to the protagonist
character.
Protagonist character will look into the space again.
The space at the end of the woods will be completely clear as
nothing will be there.
The protagonist character will scream of fear.

The protagonist character will run to tell their friends what they
have just seen. This will urge the characters to leave the camp
as one of the other characters is already scared.
Characters grab all the baggage and make a run for it. You see
them run down the track away from the camera.
All of the teenagers in the car are screaming and banging on
the windows through panic because the car won’t start.
Driver cannot start the car- panic/screaming
From the point of view of all of the characters you see the
antagonist character standing in front of the car with the car
headlights shining onto them.
Teenagers are running and screaming- adds panic.
Two of the teenagers screaming with fear because they have
just seen the antagonist.
Teenagers running and screaming- adds panic.
One of the teenagers is lying on the floor dead.
Teenagers have been tied up whilst the antagonist character is
hovering over them with the axe. But does it mean it is the end
for them?
