Script for my short horror film.

1. Sleep

2. FADE IN:
INT. CABIN AT NIGHT (2-3AM)
BRANDON steps outside & looks around. We see a wide shot
of the cabin, everything around it is dark and quiet.
BRANDON takes a deep breath and heads back in, closing
the door behind him.
BRANDON goes back to bed.
BLACK
Scraping & sounds of movement can be heard outside of the
cabin.
BRANDON
(Confused Grunting)
BRANDON’s eyes slowly open, we hear the scraping and
movement get much louder. The door slowly creaks open, a
hand can be seen opening it from the outside.
BRANDON stares at the door, realising he is unable to
move.
Tense music gets louder as the camera stays focused on
the door, waiting for something to happen.
BOB gets up from his bed clumsily and creates a loud bang
We see BRANDON react to the jump.
BOB
(Whispers)
Sorry.
BOB walks outside, and closes the door behind him. A
feeling of relief is felt in BRANDON.
He hears a loud thud against the side of the cabin and
realises he is still unable to move, a feeling of panic
is reinstated within him.
The sound of footsteps gradually gets louder, BRANDON
remains staring at the door.

3. .2
BOB opens the door and walks in.
The creature runs into the room at an incredibly fast
pace, similarly paced music builds and eventually stops
as the creature reaches BOB.
The creature attacks BOB, and BRANDON is covered in his
blood. BOB is dragged out of the room.
BRANDON watches in horror, his face covered in blood,
unable to talk and unable to move.
The creature continues to drag BOB out of the room, BOB
struggling against it.
The creature finally wins, and drags BOB outside, where
he can no longer be seen.
BRANDON sees vast amounts of blood flow along the floor
outside.
We see the face of the creature appear in the doorframe,
it remains there for a few seconds, staring at BRANDON.
BRANDON is frozen in place with fear. The music gets
louder.
The creature clumsily runs into the room, and reaches the
bed next to BRANDON, where the music stops.
CUT TO BLACK
EXT. CABIN IN THE MORNING (7-8AM)
BRANDON wakes up, moves his hands and arms to see if he
is able to move them.
BRANDON checks the bed next to him, where BOB was
sleeping. BOB is gone.
We see BRANDON step outside again to comprehend what he
had dreamt that night.
BRANDON takes a deep breath.
The creature crawls into frame above him, on the roof of
the cabin. The music builds.
CUT TO BLACK
