my initial film treatment

2. The opening sequence starts of with a female character in pyjamas late at night
watching TV. she thinks she hears something coming from outside so she goes to
check but there's nothing there. Then there's a ‘thud’ coming from upstairs so the
character gets up and shouts “is anyone there” she tries to switch the lights on but
they don't turn on so she grabs a flashlight out of a drawer. She slowly goes up
the stairs. a horror movie is playing from the tv and her flashlight goes of. She
manages to get it on for a split second allowing her to see a masked figure up the
stairs. She screams and runs towards the door, before she can dial 999 she is
stabbed in the back and as she bleeds out she slowly turns to see the face of her
attacker and all we see is a mask.
