1. Audience research analysis
I am going to analyse my survey responses that were filled out by the public
This question shows that most people who answered liked horror movies, this is good as my movie
will be a horror. Film noir was second best and thriller was last.
This question was about certificates, the majority of
people said they would like to go and see an 18 film.
This means if I made my film an 18 certificate I would
have a larger market therefore I would make more
money.

2. This question was asking the audience about whether or not
they liked gore, most of the people said yes so this means if I put
gore in my movie I will attract a larger audience.
When I asked people what their favourite horror was I
only got two responses but these responses were; the
quiet ones and the wicker man or the shining. This
shows that the audiences have varied tastes towards
horror therefore I need to make my horror apply to
most people.
When I asked for peoples favourite film noir I only
got 1 movie answer back, therefore I will not be making a
film noir as it is not very popular.
When I asked for people’s favourite thriller films I only got
1 response also, showing that this genre is also not very
popular.

3. Most people said that serial killers are most scary, therefore my
film will have a serial killer in it.
