The equipment used for the project was a camera and tripod. The recording quality was not as high as expected but was improved using Final Cut Pro. Filming encountered problems with weather, as it was difficult to find a suitable day without rain or snow outside. Final Cut Pro was simple to use and gave the movie a professional finish, though more sound files would allow for more genres. Garage Band was too complicated and unable to create desired sounds. Overall, some technologies like camera quality and Garage Band could be improved, but Final Cut Pro is very useful for amateur movie makers.

2. The equipment
The only equipment I used for this project was the camera and tripod and I
did not have any issues with them apart from I feel the recording quality was
not up to the standards I expected. However using final cut I was able to
adjust this to get a slightly better video quality.

3. Problems
During filming I encountered many problems but my main one was weather, it was
difficult to find a suitable day to film as it took place outside. Whenever my actors
where free to film it would either rain or snow. In the end I had to settle for
shooting my video in the snow.

4. Movie making
I used final cut pro to make my movie, this was simple to use but still gave the
movie a bit of a professional finish. I did not have any problems whilst using
this program which made the process a lot easier. I do however feel that the
program needs more sound files to be able to cater for a wider variety of
movies and movie genres. I also did not like garage band in the slightest, I
found this program to complicated to use and I was unable to create the
sounds that I wanted using this, therefore I had to settle with using sound clips
from final cut pro.

5. Overall
Overall I feel that some of the technologies can be improved
i.e. garage band and the recording quality of the cameras. I do
also however feel that the programs such as final cut pro are
extremely helpful and useful for amateur movie makers.
