2. SLR Camera
 I was not experienced in using an SLR camera
before the construction of my media product.
 I learnt how to adjust lighting in order for the
picture to come out clear
 I learnt how to focus a camera manually using
and turning the lense.
 I learnt how to operate zoom to take head shots
used for my DPS.
 I also learnt how to crop the photograph whilst it
is still on the camera

3. Photoshop
 I had very like practise using Photoshop, however
I asked the teachers, fellow students, searched
online as well as trying to figure it out myself, how
to use the software in editing my photographs
and constructing my product.
 I learnt to use most of the tools on Photoshop as
well as learning some shortcuts.
 I learnt how to use layers efficiently and swap
layers between different PS files
 I learnt how to use the magic tool properly

4. Blogspot
 I had never used BlogSpot before media studies.
 It was easy to used, I learnt how to post images.
 Because of BlogSpot I had to learn how to turn
Photoshop files into JGP in over to post them on
my BlogSpot
 I also learnt how to monitor who was watching
my blog.
 I learnt how to embed slide shares and prezis
onto the blog

5. Powtoon
 Powtoon was very hard for me to learn how to
use. But I managed to use it.
 I learnt how to time images on when to come in
and when to leave
 I learnt how to import images of my product onto
the slides
 I learnt how to use the stickers on Powtoon

6. Voicethread
 I didn't’t enjoy using voice thread as there was’nt
a lot of space to write, however it was very easy
to use.
 I learnt how to import images and how to record
my voice over it
 I also learnt how to embed the presentation on
to my blog

8. Process
 We first did a test run of a school magazine
 We had to sketch it then replicate what we planned onto Photoshop
 We had to repeat this process with the music magazine however conducting genre and
audience research so that what we planned to put in our product matched what the
genre was about and what the audience preferred.
 With our sketches we had to scan them into the computer and upload them on to our
blog as a JPG.
 With planning we had to do write ups onto our blog. We had to plan what the DPS article
was going to say so we had to write up a draft onto our blog first
 For our research we had a choice to write up our research onto any of the following: prezi,
slideshare, voicethread, youtube, directly onto blog or any other presentation software or
website you knew of.
 Pictures had to be taken with a good quality camera, then analysed and evaluated as to
with photos were the best and which one are going to be used.
 for the constructing of the product you had to use Photoshop or publisher (preferably
Photoshop)
